- I seem to live in a somewhat \"dead zone\" in a rural area and there was no usable signal at all from inside my cabin.With some skepticism, I installed this Amazboost Indoor A2 Cell Phone Signal Booster system using a 20-foot aluminum telescoping flagpole pointed directly toward a Verizon tower less than three miles away by pointing through a gap in the trees. The inside signal went from the high -120\'s dBm to -91 dBm and I can now send/receive phone calls from inside the cabin. It still has insufficient strength and speed to stream over the internet but enough to be able to cancel my HughesNet VoIP phone service and rely upon my 4G LTE (2 bars of service inside), which saves $30 per month.The included 30-foot cable wasn\'t long enough so I ordered a high-quality 75-foot waterproof coax cable (specifically for underground installation) with waterproof connectors, which I buried between the mast and porch of the cabin, and then ran the cable beneath the floor, and up inside with no discernable signal loss. I also wrapped the outside connector with coax sealant tape.While I cannot measure to verify a 65 dB gain, as advertised for this amplifier and compare to the 100 dB gain advertised by the Cel-Fi GO X Smart Signal Booster Kit I know that I paid $350 for this kit while the Cel-Fi booster is $1,099, and that\'s a huge difference on my budget.
- Works exactly as advertised as long as you read and follow their installation instructions.Went from one bar in my house to full bars and great speed for data.Be careful not to over tighten the cables. I broke one by accident but they\'re standard coax cables so I was able to replace it.Power jack isn\'t super solid and can pop out if jostled. I\'ll probably tape it in place.

- I purchased this booster because cellular service in our new suburban home was terrible. The house is well insulated with foil backed sheeting and low E windows (both signal killers). I only had 1-2 bars showing on my IPhone prior to installing the booster, I now have a full 4 bars. I did a lot of testing before purchasing the unit, the problem was the IPhone signal trying to leave the house. Using an IPhone to test cellular signal strength is a total joke, so I used Safari to run an internet speed tests making certain Wifi was disabled on the IPhone (forcing the test out the cellular path). You could clearly see the imbalance between the data throughput coming into the house and the throughput leaving the house After the installation of the booster, data throughput in both directions is very similar and greatly improved. I\'m very happy with the product!
- This booster works amazingly well. We have an off grid camp in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where cell service is either spotty or non existent so we thought we\'d try a booster.We tried a different one from a different manufacturer but it didn\'t get the job done, so we were skeptical that any of them would really work. This one was considerably more money than the other, so we were reluctant to buy it in case it didn\'t.Well, my wife and I were shocked when we turned it on and found our cell phones went from usually having no bars, and sometimes one, to 3-5 bars with the booster. Holy crap-the thing actually works great!As you can see from the picture, we hung the outside antenna 9 feet up in a tree and pointed it towards our best guess for where the cell tower is. Installation was easy and didn\'t take too long because we did it outside and didn\'t have to worry about drilling through walls in a house.We were so impressed with the results that we held a live video Zoom chat with someone who said that the picture and sound were amazingly clear. This from an area where our cell carrier\'s service map says poor reception. In fact, just to prove a point, I am actually typing this review and submitting it while I am at the camp using the booster.I hope the unitcontinues to function properly for a good long time.
- It was relatively easy to install and you need to have an idea of the direction of the nearest cell tower so you can aim the antenna in that general direction. I live 25 miles from town and nearest tower is roughly 10 to 12 miles away and I use a at&t netgear nighthawk hotspot and put it in the same room as the indoor antenna for the Wi-Fi signal and we went from 1 to 2 bars to 2 to 4 bars and can stream movies with no buffering so yes it has made a difference.
- When I bought this product I had my expectations very low. I used to get at best 2 bars, most of the time I was lucky to get a bar. It was definitely not capable to make a phone call or surf the web before the booster. I bought the booster it came, installed and immediately got 5G service through out the whole house! Full bars most of the house! I\'m getting anywhere between 30 Mbps, and 60 Mbps download. That is well above my expectations! I was aiming for 10 Mbps. And I certainly didn\'t get we would get 5G here. But I knew not far from me had 5G. About 6 miles from my house they have a 5G tower. So the fact I\'m getting 5G a lot of the time is impressive! I highly recommend this product if you get at least 2 bars outside where you are going to put the booster.
