- I would first off say that I think you should only buy Bluetooth speakers that are parable and left to right channel stereo I believe that\'s how music was supposed to be listened to I have tried multiple Bluetooth speakers The ones that I kept are Bose revolve plus soundcore motion plus and 2 JBL charge fives and bought and returned two Sonos moves which I liked very much but were very expensive and very bulky bigger than my Sonos home speakers not really portable with that said if I could keep any of the three that I have purchased I would keep the JBL charge fives they can fill any room great bass great mids great highs I work in a church and I have put them 50 ft apart in an empty room and you would not know that you\'re listening to two Bluetooth speakers they can fill any room and have and have great balance The bose and the soundcore do to but when I listen to them I feel like I am listening to a portable device when I listen to the charge fives I don\'t feel like that I am making any sacrifice for portability with that said I did not test these like I was going to go camping and put the them on a picnic table I tested them like I would use them for my home speakers and they pass the test better than any of the other ones I\'ve tried if this review says anything that will make your camping trip rock 🪨 not to mention waterproof dustproof and mine came with two free cases for the same $149 a price
- For the size, it packs a punch! It’s loud and the battery lasts a really long time. The bass is impressive for such a small speaker. The sound quality is a little lacking for my taste when the volume is greater than half way but I didn’t have the funds to spend $300 or more for a top notch speaker. I’m happy with this little guy.
- My Charge 3 battery went bad so it was time for an upgrade. The Charge 5 sounds great!I use it in the garage while working, I’m the backyard when BBQ’n and took it on a few outdoor activities. The case that came with mine makes it perfect for outings, and this things rocks for hours!!I also tried a charge 4 and the 3 & 5 both outperformed in sound quality. I would highly recommend the charge 5 over the 3 just because the battery life is great!
- I totally enjoy the sound and portability of these speakers. Bought two pair because I like moving from room to room without having to move my speakers.JBL equates to awesome sound… don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on purchasing these speakers you won’t be dissapointed plus they are water proof

- This speaker is great. Just make sure you download the JBL app so you can update the firmware.
- Easily one of the best speakers I\'ve owned. Out of the box, it delivers good bass and sound quality that you can tweak further with a separate, free app that also handles software updates. Battery life is variable. At full volume, full bass it can last a little longer than 4 hours, but it can last the full advertised time at moderate volume. Relatedly, the charging time is fairly long, I suppose as a consequence of having the built in power bank. From completely dead, I\'ve clocked a full charge somewhere between 8 to 10 hours, depending on the charger adapter. As for charging a device from the built in power bank, it\'s mildly effective. In my experience, it will take too long to full charge a connected device, but it will keep the device from dying.
- First, this speaker has great sound, period. The size is perfect to take to the park, beach, etc. AND, you can connect them together wirelessly for big stereo sound. Three of our kids now have this speaker and they love it.
