- bought for my son back in February, I purchased a 3yr warranty bcuz my son is a teenager and kids seem to go through electronics...when I filled out my claim through Asurion, asurion gave me apples number bcuz I still have 6 months left of the manufacturer warranty...when I called Apple to let them know what was wrong with this product they told me the beats were purchased back in 2018...I obviously was very furious but as talking with Apple they are very helpful, and bcuz I did have proof of purchase here on Amazon they did go ahead and allow to use the warranty....this seller should be band from selling products even though the beats are brand new!!! people are being swindled into buying a brand new product and thinking there is warranty on them through the manufacturer, when there is not any warranty...they purchased these products years ago and now people are buying the product without knowledge that the manufactures warranty has ran out....so any buyer buying this product please make sure you keep your proof of purchase and apple will work with you...also I suggest buying the extra asurion insurance.....I\'m pretty sure this seller has knowledge the manufacturer warranty has ran out hence why it\'s suggested to purchase the asurion warranty when buying this product....again if you do not have money to purchase the extra insurance DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
