Westone W10 Single-Driver True-Fit Earphones with MMCX Audio and Bluetooth Cables
- I am writing the same review for the W20 and W10 because they are near identical (which is disappointing). I was replacing my UM Pro 10\'s, which are very simple flat single drivers. I don\'t use them in live settings (I have Alclairs for that) but I do like using my Westones for podcasts when I\'m lying down because the housing is so tiny, which makes them very comfortable. While the build quality and materials are excellent and the fit is very comfortable, the sound stage is just garbage. It sounds weak and flat. Zero low end. Great for podcasts. Terrible for listening to music or using as professional inears. This is especially disappointing with the W20 model since they are dual driver. They only have a hair more low end. But the Shure se215\'s simply blow both sets out of the water with richness, balance, and low end. If you\'re getting entry-level IEM\'s to play on a stage skip these and go straight for the Shures. If you want the tiniest housing possible, this is your iem.
