- I needed it for rehearsals to play tracks. The only thing that would have set this above anything else is being able to connect mics. The sound on this little machine was massive! The battery lasts long. Two - 2hrs rehearsals once a week for a month, and One - 2hr rehearsal once a week that following month and I never charged it.
- First off, I bought a used one last year around Christmas and loved it so much that I bought a new one this year. The battery actually works now lol and the sound is so much better and clearer.I also wanted to say, I saw the negative comments on this item, to anyone reading this if you buy using the battery will likely be dead, but everything else worked great. Sure there was some wear and tear on it but you\'re buying it used.Both were a great buy for the price new or used.

- I purchased in order to provide background music for a party of around 100 people at an indoor location. It was very effective for this purpose. I like the simplicity of the device -- it\'s super easy to connect via BT, and while you can download the IONIS app, it doesn\'t really add any capabilities beyond what you can do right on the control panel of the speaker itself. It\'s great that there is a little close-able compartment on the top, as I was able to leave the old iPhone I was using to stream Spotify inside the box. I was also able to transport the cord in there as well while moving the speaker from home to the party location. The telescoping handle and wheels make moving this speaker a piece of cake. Now that the party is over, I will enjoy having this for our next season\'s backyard gatherings and activities.

- The ION Pathfinder is a perfect speaker. Its not too big, and also not very heavy. The sound is booming, and it connects very easy. It is even capable of connecting to a microphone for karaoke.
