  • 1. Hiss - there is a noticeable hiss always, but I noticed a lot of wireless IEM\'s hiss, so I\'m not sure what the deal is. It\'s not bad, but it\'s there.2. the earbuds are fixed onto the unit, you cannot change them. And the connecting wire is kind of fragile, so be careful!
  • I play trumpet and bass, and both sound great and it is absolutey great for vocals. I HATE wires and belt packs. I use a wireless trumpet mic that has the same concept. I am looking forward to adding receivers for other band members. Too early to comment on range or battery life, but I used them for 3 hours last night without issue.
  • I have a belt pack system that we used for a number of years. A large bulky transmitter that we had to carry around, and a belt pack that I had to deal with. As we have been trimming the amount of gear that we take on our duo gigs I had cut back to using a wired configuration instead of wireless for my in ear. While that works it is a bit of an annoyance.I had tried some Bluetooth systems but even the best had some lag, and didn\'t sound all that good.So when I saw this I ordered it to give it a try.I use an XLR to 3.5mm converter to connect the transmitter to our digital mixer monitor channel and that works quite well.Pros:Rechargeable.Compact size, no belt pack and the transmitter is very compact.Decent case.Decent sound, in spite of the ear budsNo noticeable latency. If you hit a string on your guitar it tracks perfectly into the mixer.Doesn\'t appear to be bothered by WiFi signals. The digital mixer uses WiFi 2.4Ghz and the home WiFi is 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. There was no interference with the in ear monitor, and it didn\'t appear to interfere with the WiFi either with the digital mixer or the home system.Cons:The ear buds are pretty cheap. No pads. The ear buds are hard wired. This means that when they fail you cannot easily replace them. And over time ear buds do tend to fail.Because the ear buds do not seal well you will not get much bass response. At least that is my experience. Depending on the shape of your ears you may have a better fit. That\'s where having the soft pads would be a plus.A very mild background hiss can be heard, at least in my case. It\'s not enough to be annoying, especially when playing and singing. It doesn\'t appear that there is any protective limiting built in. My other wireless in ear system does have limiting to prevent loud peaks from damaging your hearing, so you will want to watch your volume levels that you are feeding into the transmitter. There\'s no warning in the manual about possible hearing damage with high levels, so keep that in mind. There is no volume control on the receiver, it would be nicer if it had one.In spite of the lousy ear buds I find this to be usable. But we haven\'t used it on a gig yet, so if I run into any issues I\'ll update this review. After I\'ve done some testing with the attached ear buds I plan on clipping them off and adding a jack so I can the better set of ear buds that I use with my wired in ear system. That should be a big improvement in sound quality.I took off a star for the hardwired, no pads ear buds and the apparent lack of protective level limiting. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. For the price these are quite good, other than the cheap ear bud arrangement, and lack of volume control on the receiver. So if you can live with the minor issues, I would recommend this as a decent inexpensive in ear system.
  • I wanted to love these monitors. I have other products from this company that are great, but this one unfortunately falls a little bit short.Overall, this in-ear monitor system is very well-conceived and delivered as a nice kit with a convenient carrying case. The transmitter has an 1/8\" plug and they provide a nice 1/4\" adapter, so it will work in any monitor or headphone jack you\'re likely to encounter. The manual is better than average. Both transmitter and receiver charged right up and I put them to work.Pairing was super easy, actually automatic. The earphones are comfortable, and the receiver necklace is convenient. The sound is rich and full, giving you an accurate representation of the board mix - at least for instrumentals and as long as you are within a few feet if the transmitter.Once you get more than about fifteen feet from the transmitter, though, the signal starts dropping out. You can still hear everything clearly, but you get an annoying crackle in the headset. This distortion increases with every few feet you move further away. The audience will not hear any of that noise - but I will. The other issue is latency. The time it takes vocals to make it through the transmitter and back to the headset gives you a distracting doubling, like a chorus effect. This is a problem when I\'m singing and trying to fit into the mix. Higher-end (and admittedly far more expensive) in-ear monitors are not as prone to this. For the money, these monitors will work, but the crackling and latency are pretty annoying, so I\'ll probably be looking to replace them when I can.
  • The actual volume seems to be fine it\'s just the actual fit in your ear is not very comfortable. Although you do eliminate a belts pack which is a nice feature it still just has a lot of issues like lagging latency issues. I think the idea of these is amazing but the actual execution still needs work the Comfort level needs work and as a musician using in ear monitoring system this needs to be a little more smooth I need to hear what I\'m doing instantaneously not with any delay.
  • Good value for very compact inexpensive personal in-ear solution. Charges in a couple hours. Red light flashes while charging and turns off when ready to use for up to 6 hrs. Packs nicely in a zippered semi-hardshell case. The left and right ear piece is attached to the neck piece and I do not see how you would replace them. One nice thing is you won’t loose them or get wrapped in those long skinny wires.
  • Was a little tricky to get going, but not bad. I’m no sound engineer, but I have played hundreds of shows and know my way around a soundboard pretty well. I’ve always wanted a wireless monitor, and had way high expectations. This didn’t quite meet those expectations. It works, and for what it says it’s gonna do, but…I probably will just go back to using wedges for myself, (lead vocalist.) It’s almost not worth the hassle. I guess I could say that about any wireless monitors though too. I just expected better, I guess.
  • I\'ve been using this for my guitar and it works great. Its nice to be wireless and the sound is very acceptable. A great piece of kit for the price. Love it!
