- I like the sound and look. Unfortunately the connection ability it’s cumbersome. Using the ears buds as microphone on phone call’s isn’t great the other person can’t hear you .
- I had been having some issues with my Apple Earbuds and was looking for alternatives. After some research I decided to give these a try. I\'ve used them for several day now so I thought it would be helpful to share some thoughts about my experience.Initial ImpressionsShipping was very fast and the packaging was easy to deal with. Had the headphones out in moments and connected to the charger for a quick top-off before first use. To be honest, when I opened the package I was a bit put off by the extremely short charging cable included in the box. Fortunately I have several charging cables for other devices around the house so getting them charged wasn\'t an issue.I know these headphones are designed for wireless charging but I don\'t currently have a way to charge them that way. So, it was a disappointment to find such a short cable in the box. Fortunately, after getting around that minor issue, the rest of my experience with the headphones was extrtemely positive.Fit and FinishAs much as I like Apple products, I\'m not a fan of white accessories. Fortunately, I don\'t have that issue with these headphones as they come in a dark grey aluminum, which I really like. As far as fit is concerned, I have decent-sized ears and the headphones fit perfectly and felt snug, but not tight. And unlike the Apple earbuds I didn\'t feel these would fall out if I moved my head around too much.Connection to DevicesConnecting to both my iPhone and MacBook Pro was very simple. You just open the headphone case and the device will appear in your list of available Bluetooth devices. Select it and you are paired and ready to go. I paired and un-paired several times with both devices to test this out and it worked flawlessly each time.Sound QualityHaving used Apple earbuds for well over a year I can say the sound quality from these is superior. I tried a variety of music genres, as well as a few podcasts, and the sound is fuller with more definition and bass and had no noticeable distortion. In short, it\'s very good and better than any other headphones of this type I\'ve tried before.Sound quality was also good during several phone calls and zoom meetings where the headphones were the sole means of listening and speaking during calls. The dual mics worked perfectly during the calls and while on zoom. No issues there at all.The Oddict AppI didn\'t spend too much time with this as I felt the sound quality I was getting out of the box was excellent, so I didn\'t feel the need to adjust it at all. Still, this is a nice option for those who do find it necessary to make some adjustments to the sound.Battery LifeOn a full charge I got close to the three hours of music playing time advertised before I needed to recharge. That\'s pretty good and about what i expected. Using the headphones during calls and when on zoom for close to two hours the battery didn\'t run out, so I have no reason to expect the battery life in these situations wouldn\'t also be as advertised.ConclusionI like these headphones. During the short time I\'ve had them they\'ve performed as well or better than the ones I have from Apple. They do the same job and look better, in my opinion. They\'re also less expensive than Apple\'s offering with similar features/specs. If, like me, you\'re looking for an alternative to Apple\'s earbuds, or just want great-sounding headphones with lots of features and good value, give these a try.
