got a whole box of them and they all work perfect
I have the older model and the new model. The old ones (about 6 years old) still work great, delivering awesome sound, but the plastic head band is getting tired and a wire has come loose where I pulled it too hard. So I decided to order a new headset and after a couple months of use, they seem to be the same good build and sound quality as my old models.The best 10 bucks I have spent in a while.

Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS is the Best headphones on the market in 2021. I have been using these for several years now. The five pack is great because you never know when one will get damaged. These headphones are excellent for listening to high quality music and for composing music. The Frequency Response is 16Hz - 22kHz. This is the frequency response you need. You could also buy headphones with a frequency response of 12Hz - 26kHz. But Do Not buy headphones with a frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz unless all you want to hear is bass. I highly recommend these headphones not only because of the low price but also because of the excellent quality and frequency response.
These can fall of your head and down a sea side cliff and they wont break. For $8 the sound quality is off the chain

I have been buying these headphones off and on for years, but the latest batch of them have had issues with the wiring where the Left/Right wires enter the plastic body of the two earpieces and are connected to the speakers.2 out of the last 3 I purchased have already failed (~3 months). The wire on either the left or right side seems to break free, even with the (very) minimal amount of strain I put on the cords (they are used only by me, and I am typically pretty gentle when it comes to my use of electronic devices).This was never a problem in the past, and seems to be an issue that has shown up recently. And you can\'t really blame this on price; it couldn\'t cost over a few cents per unit to provide proper strain relief for the wiring.So, it appears that I\'m going to have to locate a new \"standard\" for use as my \"TV Listeners\"...
