- I\'m not sure why but I have fewer bars but faster downloads with the transmitter unplugged than I do with it plugged in. I\'m not sure if it\'s some kind of feedback but the antenna is installed 30\' away. I finally got tired of having to go outside or to the back of my house to get Gifs on Facebook to load (ridiculous). So I unplugged it to see what would happen and viola, faster downloads.If anybody has any idea how I can fix this issue, I\'m all ears.
- I bought the dual band but did not get any improvement for band 2. My signal was -104 for band 2 and after installing the antenna, it didn\'t improve. For 850mhz, it went from -101 to -89 but i didn\'t spend extra money to only have 850mhz. I would recommend testing this before drilling holes in your house. I ended up returning it.

- Let me start by saying this repeater/booster is the best one I have had yet. I originally had a zBoost dual band repeater for 5 years. It always had to be reset multiple times a day, and messed with, but it worked. Recently it started to get worse and worse. Enter in a new search for a new booster. First let me start by saying you need to do your research when searching for a repeater. First thing you need to know is what frequency and lte band you\'re using. A quick phone call to your providers tech support line will usually do the trick. Or do like the description in this listing tells you to do and download the LTE discovery app for Android or follow the directions for Apple. I myself have an android and the apps really helped. 1st. The app will tell you where the best signal in your yard is. I used it by walking around my house to find the best spot in the yard, then I mounted my antenna directly above that point on my roof. I highly reccomend going by Lowes or Homedepot and getting 2 pieces of the 5ft outside antenna mast and antenna mount kit. All included the cost was about $25. The key to this booster is to get it above the peak of your roof line. I placed mine about 9ft. Above the middle peak. Also the tower finder app will give you a general direction in which to point the antenna, which is key. Make sure you don\'t skip this step. 2nd. This particular booster works great for me as I am a Sprint customer. My nearest tower is a little over 3 miles from me. I get about 3 to sometimes 4 bars depending on how im holding my tongue outside in the yard. I get only 1 bar of 3g inside my house without the booster. With the booster inside I get a constant 3 to 4 bars in every corner of my house which is about 1900 sq. Ft. I had purchased 2 different boosters before this one. One from ebay which did not work with my band 25/26 lte and another that I purchased here on Amazon that had great reviews just the equipment itself was not working. 3rd. When getting this booster setup and you run it for the first time, give it time to start working. I had to wait about 10 minutes and it started working perfectly. The power light will stay green and the signal light will flicker off and on. Leave it be and let it work. 4th. This is a repeater and with that said it will only repeat what it can receive. Which is exactly how this works. Don\'t get discouraged if you only see 2 to 3 bars at first. Run a speed test and make sure your speed is working or not working by going to fast.com or going to Google and searching speed test from the search bar. Google has a built-in speed test you can run right from the browser window. I went from 2 to 4 mbps. On my internet speed to 10 to 14 mbps. My VoLte works great and I can stream Netflix and YouTube with ease now. I have 3 cellphones and an iPad with lte. All of them work great at the same time. All in all this was a simple setup that just,took time. Also you\'ll need to email sprint and add the booster to their list of boosters. I really recommend this to any sprint customers, especially to those who live in a rural area like I do.
