- Quality is high. No issues so far with the usual \"cant connect\", or \"no connection found\", it finds my pc and iPhone immediately upon start up. Bonus is that music sounds great too!
- TLDR: If this product went to short beep audio indicators and toggling mute by raising and lowering the mic boom, usability would skyrocket.I don\'t know why product engineers do not pay more attention to muting and unmuting, and ease of determining mute status. I feel like a Teams Certified headset should HAVE TO NAIL this.Mute Buttons Suck: Let Me Tell You WhyMute buttons suck because you usually can\'t see them. Even with the best of implementations, you grope around your headset trying to find it. Also, you have no visual reminder of your mute status unless you are looking at the screen and Teams is in the foreground. Instead, I wish muting were controlled by raising and lowering the mic boom. This would function both as an intuitive mute toggle control, and a non-intrusive, non-audio mute status indicator. (I was aware of the mute button on this product. I held my nose and bought it because I didn\'t see a better option. It\'s a market opportunity, designers!!!)Wordy Audio Indicators are UnintuitiveI do not like the audio indicators on this product. When you hit the mute button, the headset says, \"mute on\" or \"mute off\" in English. This is a bad design. When I hear \"mute on!\" my brain translates this to \"On! Go! Talk!\", when it really means, \"Don\'t talk!\" In my opinion, if a trilingual software developer (whose native language is English) clumsily fumbles with your product to go off mute, you have an interface design problem, not a user training issue.Speed of Use is Important--Words Are Too SlowIf I have to wait for the headset to say \"Mute Off\" before I can talk, it interrupts the flow of the conversation more than necessary and makes this product cumbersome to use. Your audio indicators should be short, unintrusive beeps. A high pitched beep means \"On, Talk\", a low pitched beep means \"Off, Don\'t Talk\", and the \"You\'re talking while muted\" alert should a short bip-bip at the same pitch as \"Off, don\'t talk\".I bought this product because it has a charging stand, good battery life, and good noise cancellation. But the implementation of the mute feature is killing me.
- I use the Bluetooth connection and have been able to move about the house without too much interference (you will know when you have reached the limit). Battery life has flawless with a solid 5-6 hour conference days, no indication that it would not last a full 8 if needed. I needed to rest them a little lower on my ears to prevent that nagging headset pain but overall comfort level is 8 out of 10. Sound quality is crystal clear and have not had anyone ask me to repeat myself.I gave 4 out of 5 only because I needed to fiddle with placement to avoid pain of them pressing down my ears. If you have been searching for a good wireless headset solution, this is a great option.
- This is an awesome headset - a great value for the money. Comfortable for long VoIP / Video calls, great sound quality, well built and very long battery life. But for some reason none of the call control buttons OR MUTE work when using Bluetooth outside of the included BT700 dongle. This is incredibly annoying since it can pair with up to 8 devices. If you are planning on using this with multiple devices, be aware that outside of the volume up/down, none of the other buttons work - NOT EVEN MUTE.And the BT700 dongles are outrageously expensive, close to $100 new for a $10 BT dongle.
- Exactly what I needed and integrates with MS Teams seamlessly. Had the headset for approx. 2 weeks and still have not needed to recharge. Had 9 hours of life when started - down to 6 now. Great headset when walking around the home-office.
- This is the best set I have ever ordered!
- Setup was super easy. The led on Bluetooth usb and headphones are not always as expected.During call the led stop working, sometime even if the call is not from teams the usb led will glow purple.Sometime headphone is connected but led on usb and headphone is off.Apart from that there is echo effect during call which was scary.
- Sound quality is adequate, but a little quiet (even within a silent WFH environment). Noise cancellation, if even present, is not noticeable. The range and battery life are really outstanding, but those are the only plusses.I cannot recommend this product because of the major failures around muting. These showstopper problems are: 1.) it doesn\'t even mute unless you have the software installed, 2.) even with the software installed, it does not reliably mute, and 3.) there is no visual indicator to the wearer of the mute status. So, every time you mute you have to vocally check to see if nobody can hear you. It\'s an absolute pain to deal with and also very distracting to everyone else on the call when not muted properly. The terrible muting implementation has led to several very embarrassing WFH moments broadcasting bio breaks and private side conversations to work meetings because the headset failed to properly mute and gave me no indication otherwise. These absolutely need a light at the end of the mic boom to adequately convey mute status, and the physical mute button on the headset shouldn\'t require the software to be installed in order to function.BUYER BEWARE!
