- Bought this as I was tired of having to plug in my phone to charge and tired of having a stray cable floating around the car when not in use.Overall the installation was surprisingly easy and took very little time. Had to watch a few YouTube videos in addition to the installation video to figure out out to properly remove a few trim pieces, but I\'ve come to expect that with car projects.In terms of functionality my thoughts are:Pros:1. The product is sold at a reasonable price point (in my opinion)2. When not in use it blends in with the rest of the trim and looks OEM to the typical user. One would have to have been in a truck with a factory Qi charging system to know its not stock.3. The phone seems to charge reasonably fast based off of my user experience.Cons:1. As there are no magnetics to align the phone on the charger, the phone gets fairly hot/warm while charging. Not sure if that will affect long term battery/phone life.2. The breathing indicator light that lets you know that the phone is charging properly is unnecessarily bright. Not a big deal during the day, but at night it\'s annoying and a distraction.3. While you can see it in some of the videos (its a red clip in the back center of the charger that clips into the vertical center console trip piece), the charger I received is missing the center trim tab. While it doesn\'t affect the overall functionality of device (and you can\'t see it) it does add to the rigidity of the center console and I would have liked to have seen it still included.Overall I\'m pretty happy with the result and I would buy it again.
- The light that pulses to indicate that the phone is charging failed within the first week.The charger itself still seems to work, but I am concerned about its longevity now. Plus it\'s hard to tell if type place the phone in the correct spot to catch a charge without the indication light.
- First off this item feels like a high quality OEM part, and surprisingly came nicely packaged! Installing in my \'21 Tacoma SR5 (without a factory wireless charger) did hit a snag. The provided connector expects there to be a 12V cigarette lighter going into your center armrest console, mine has two factory USB ports with a different style connector. Luckily the 12V lighter in the dash still uses the provided L-plug. So it just meant sliding out the stereo (pop off one trim piece and 4x10mm bolts) and then reaching behind the dash to plug in the provided plug behind the 12V cig lighter.Also, as others mentioned the provided tray only uses two of the three factory clips. As I didn\'t have the factory wireless charger to swap pieces from, I just used it as provided. It still feels really secure and I can\'t tell a difference.Once installed, it looks nice and shows fast charging on my S10E.
- I ended up using more of the factory plastic parts than what came with this unit (primarily because this kit was missing an attachment point that the oem unit had). I purchased this unit because the one in my truck wasn’t working. I wanted to use the factory switch to be able to toggle this charger on/off versus tying into the outlet in the center console, so I patched this new charger into the existing harness. Works like a charm.

- Pic attached to prove i actually installed it.Was excited about the prospect of upgrading the painfully slow OEM charger.This is a perfect replacement for it in a 2020, except it\'s always on, it doesn\'t work with the factory button.The problem is it refuses to charge my pixel 6 pro, it does the slow breathing light for a few minutes and the phone says it\'s charging, then it switches to the rapid blue blinking light and stops charging.I tried every position of the phone with and without the case, no bueno. Not sure if mines defective or it\'s just junk. I will be reinstalling the OEM one.Also it says non slip surface, it\'s not. It\'s a hard plastic with a few rubber lines on it (the white ones), without the case my phone slips all over the place on it. The OEM one has a nicer rubber non slip finish.Guess I\'ll have to give up on wireless charging in my car for now sadly.
- This is one of the best mods I have done in a while. I followed the instructions and completed the installation in about 15 minutes. This works amazing!
- Still heats up the phone really good. Will have to use the pad to stop the phone from moving.
