so on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of sound quality and well basically everything, this is perhaps one of the best budget tube amplifiers. I know there is a couple reviews on here from people who claim that it\'s not very good as a pre-amplifier but that\'s exactly how I use it and it works great in that way. matter of fact of the time that I\'ve owned it I have yet to hook up a pair of headphones to it.I would recommend however changing out the stock Russian tube, it\'s not bad but getting one of the basic $20 general electric 5670 tubes that are widely available is a fantastic upgrade and really brings this already great product a step further.
I\'m no audiophile, but ever since I moved to using a GoXLR for audio control for my 2 PC\'s music listening has been mediocre. I started with a Schiit Loiki Mini+ to tweak tone but w/ the Drop amp/preamp that I had it was still missing something. Enter The Schiit Vali2++. For me it fills the sound out perfectly like a live show.I couldn\'t be any happier with my purchase. The Vali2++ is perfect for me. Thanks Schiit!
