I\'m not sure why people feel the need to write reviews on products they don\'t even own. This headset sounds great and the mic sounds fantastic, probably the best sounding headset mic you can buy. Like the description says, they slapped the capsule from an AT-2020 condenser mic on a pair of M50x headphones and the combo is great. I don\'t see how you would need audio fidelity better than this for video calls and gaming, and the mic is actually good enough for recording some vocals (although you\'ll need some post processing).Yes, the USB cable coming from the headphones is not detachable. This doesn\'t affect the actual quality of the headphones or the mic, which is outstanding. I feel like the price is kind of steep, but I have zero complaints otherwise.
I just ran across these as I was searching for a better solution to using a ModMic (which last about a year) to attach to my M50x ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HVLUR86/ ) that I bought almost 2 years ago.I thought I had entered Heaven, until I saw that AT had changed it to a permanent cord! Sorry AT, headphones are obviously great and I\'m sure the mic is great too, but a perma cord means a \"no sale\" here...
