- The only reason you would buy from a scalper is because theyve (as usual) exhausted any legit sources like the steam store or valve does not ship parts to your location. In which case, youre in luck, the cable is legitimate and works as expected when I bought one. Just remember that youre paying a marked up price because there arent many other choices.
