  • More hype then thump. Yes, there is a slight bass boost noticed using stock device settings, ie no EQ or device enhancements set. The other BT headphones i have are LG HBS800 and KLIPCH R6 BT.I use BT headphones to use on my WIndows 10 laptop and my Android LG V10 phone.Volume needs to be stronger. Maxed out is right at my normal listening volume in a quiet room. When i am listening to quiet sources, like multi channel audio movies, volumes is too low. Have to activate \"loudness equalization\" in my media player to boost volume at the source.Build quilty feels great. A tad weighty on the ears, but doesn\'t bother me. Medium ear tips that came on them fit me fine. I am not using these for sports and am i am not moving much, so the rubbing of the cable against me is minimal. There is a weird significant price difference depending on the color u choose! (at the time of review: Black: $145, Blue: $119 , Red $102) I purchased Blue color.Overall, it\'s decent, but a bit over priced and over hyped.Update: had these for 2 weeks now. They do seem to sound a tad better after some time to \"break in\". A bit more bass is present now. Overall sound is certainly decent. I would say they are just a tad lacking in clarity of mids and highs area. Battery life is excellent, however, there is no audible battery indicator like on other BT headphones i have. It just beeps and says \"recharge headset\" then dies on you when the battery is too low, no early warning. My LG\'s, they stated battery level every time you turned them on, and gave several \"low battery\" warnings before finally shutting off. The only way to know battery level on these Sony\'s is if you are paired to a newer Android phone where it gives a rough battery indicator in the notification area.
  • Great sound for the price. Good for cardio, not weight lifting. The cord gets pulled on the bench and broke my first pair that way. My second pair broke when the rubber on the button wore off after 6 months maybe. I upgrade to airpod pros
  • - these paired up immediately with my Nokia 1520 Windows 10 phone- the earbuds feel very comfortable and I think they will be unobtrusive while staying in place during exercise- the sound is very clear but I don\'t hear any extra bass - in fact I don\'t hear much bass at all. I would rate the sound quality lower than my LG HBS-700 Bluetooth headphone or my Sennheiser MX371 wired earbuds which sound amazing.- the included self closing bag to hold the charging cable and extra earbuds is a nice feature.- the person who designed the packaging should be fired - it\'s just stupid and wasteful- 4 stars for the design - I don\'t think you can find a better pair for use during physical activities- minus 1 star for the lack of bottom end sound
  • I have tried multiple sets of wireless headphones. These have had the best sound quality of any I have tried. Long battery life. Easy to connect to your electronic devices.Cancel out almost all background noise. Nice in the gym. Potentially problematic if you exercise near or on a road.I usually work out in a gym, treadmill and elliptical, and have had no problems with the headphones falling out of my ears.Only problems I have noted:1: The wires can get caught on your clothing, making the headphones move awkwardly in your ears and can be uncomfortable.2. You can sometimes hear the sound of your wires rubbing against clothing through the headphones.Good product. Would likely buy again if I need another pair down the road.
  • Pretty descent sound with lots of bass and the fit isn\'t half bad either. I love these because the ear buds stay on the device and not in your ear like the blue ants. They are big on the ear than most others on the market and the button useage takes some getting used to. I recommend grabbing the bottom portion with your thumb, the top with your middle finger and pushing the buttons with your index. I also think the cord should be a lot shorter and the price a little bit cheaper. I also have had some early issues with the distance of the Bluetooth. I wasn\'t that far away and while doing crunches, just putting my hands by my head seemed to have a disturbance in the signal. I need a pair for work, which involves noisy shops, so the noise canceling/music listening/calls comes in handy but I won\'t pay 100$ again. One last thing, I\'ve yet to answer a call with them but a cup and a string is better than the last pair I had(blue ants).
  • This is my second pair of these headphones and I absolutely love them! My first pair I accidentally donated, and I saw these were on sale around black Friday so I decided to purchase again. I was very happy with the sound quality and the fact that I could run on the treadmill without worrying about cables. So I had these headphones for a few months, and I was listening to music while I was rolling my back out at the gym using a yoga mat and a foam cylinder. All of the sudden I guess I was generating some static electricity, and the headphones started to make noise. I lifted my head up and immediately received a shock in my ear! It was static, and it was not painful, but I was still shocked by the headphones and the static I apparently was generating while stretching my back. I turned the headphones off, and proceeded to the treadmill to do my usual running.Long story short, the headphones never worked again. They make a terrible popping and crackling sound now. I never got them wet, never dropped them, and stored them well! I am so upset! What makes this story worse is I attempted to contact SONY twice about this issue and was completely ignored. I sent an email to customer service, and also tried to call and had no success. I do not think that I will be purchasing from SONY in the future, this is a horrible way to treat a long time customer. I am very dissatisfied with this whole situation, and wish there was something more I could do aside from properly disposing of these once fantastic wireless headphones. Great product, unfortunate situation, and a neglected customer.
