• I\'m glad I read the ratings and got all the great advice. They are a bit muffled at first, but after adjusting the EQ on my ipod, things sounded great.Pro: Good instructions, links up quick and remembers all of my devicesCons: The volume are invisible. I couldn\'t find them for the first hour. I finally moved my hand across the top of the unit and stumbled upon them. This is where the instructions were quite lacking. I bet you can find a cheaper Bluetooth speaker that\'s better than this one.Added April 2016Unless you\'re using this with a device that has EQ adjustments. You won\'t like it. I can\'t hear any of the voices when I watch Netflix. I sure like the design, but hate the rest.
• As far as sound goes,disappointing. The clarity is less than desirable the treble is low and the base is nonexistent. For the money I just expected more. I wish you could speak on your phone through the Big Blue speaker but you cannot!
• It worked at first, and the sound was fantastic, like many comment, although the connectivity was not great sometimes, had to have it by the computer. Then, like others commented, it started to not be able to turn off or on. Finally, it stopped pairing. These happened in a couple of weeks online! So I had to return it (to my cost, but I still did, because it was not usable anymore).
• I got this on a friends recommendation. It looks great and performs OK, but wish the sound quality was a better. For the money I think there are better options.
• For household use,I chose this over the Bose Mobile Bluetooth II speaker which was portable but double the price and had a rechargeable battery but no direct AC usage only. Although the Bose had a better sound, I did not think it was worth twice the price.
• Who needs all of the wires, a receiver, etc in this digital age? When I bought an antique Asian cabinet for the area where my stereo equipment previously resided, I decided that downloading all of my favorite tunes to my iPhone or iPad and then playing them through the Big Blue was a better idea, and it is! Plus it\'s portable -- take Big Blue anywhere there\'s an outlet, and you have great music!
• It just doesn\'t work well. It doesn\'t turn on easily (sometimes works well, other days no), doesn\'t turn off easily (again, sometimes yes and other times no), my iPad and iPhone occasionally have problems connecting, the sound quality is less than stellar (helps with the iPad to adjust the equalizer to a flat setting). Just not impressed...
• We like this product. We had a different type of product before that plugged into our Iphone4 but when we got the IPhone5 the earplug was located on the bottom making the older product harder to connect. So we bought this as it was wireless.Simple to use it works great and sounds great.
