- Didn’t work
- After registering this booster with my cell provider as required then setting it up, I didn\'t notice any real improvement to network performance. My speed is the same as it was and calls still sound the same. My signal shows as better because it\'s connecting to this device, but other than it showing a better signal, I can\'t really find anyway that it actually did anything to improve my connection to the cellular network. I did notice a slight increase in average latency, but wasn\'t too much.
- My husband set this up and we have the same exact bars as before.. i double checked his work by going over the instructions and i couldnt find anything suspicious or out of place. Maybe this is only meant to extend the network farther out rather than boost the network right there!
- So I\'ll start by saying it works great and is worth the investment. Most antennas reach 2500 Sq feet. This on is 5000. You have the indoor antennas which is very easy to install but you want to get the outside one up very high so running the wire and mounting it might require some man power. You can get a better signal if it\'s pointing in a certain direction like, towards a cell tower. I\'m in a metal building and started with a sketchy 2 bars ...sometimes. Now it\'s a steady 3 bars and occasionally all four. The family is definitely happy about the better service and even happier to see me terrified on a 20 foot ladder. Results may very. In my experience, if you have no service it\'s unlikely any small antenna will be much help. This one is definitely worth a try.
- Weak cell signal ? This booster can help you fix that. We use Verizon for our internet and our speeds have doubled. Our signal went from 2 to 4 bars, even 3 bars is a huge improvement. Installation was not bad, running the wires was the worse part. You want to mount the antenna up as high as you can, mine is only 20\' off the ground surrounded by pine trees and still works great. You will want to tune the antenna to the nearest cell tower but that is easy to do. You need a basic signal to start with, this is true of all boosters. If my signal drops to 1 bar the booster will not help. If you have a good solid basic signal this will work for you. I would buy again. 5 STARS
- I ordered this with little hope of solving my Black Hole cell phone problem at home. I live in the country and was constantly dropping calls. I had to stand in the back yard to sort of reliably make a call. It works!! Simple installation and I get four bars on my couch. I believe the directional antenna makes all the difference, as I have tried others that did not work. You should be able to find the location of your nearest tower on your providers website - Just point the antenna in that direction.
- This takes a bit of man power to install. There’s an exterior antenna that needs to be wired outside. Other wise it’s way to operate and does boost our cell signal. Well worth the price if you’re iffy on cell signal and a compatible service.
- This cell phone booster works great. It\'s easy to install, set up and use. I went from 2 bars of signal in my house to full bars. Great product!
