- It did a good job but it stopped working after 7 months so save your money. *** Update *** excellent customer service took care of my issue really pleased with the professionalism
- This product helpful - doesn\'t work for me as well as some people say on here, but definitely helps. It\'s very easy to install and try out, so I\'d recommend at least doing that. What sets this company apart is EXCELLENT product support. I had my car detailed and the guy ripped the cradle cable out of its connector. 😠 I reached out to WeBoost to see if I could buy a replacement part, and they sent it to me for free! And they were super responsive in both chat and email to organize it.
- The product works for its intended use. It does boost signal if you have it, usually one and sometimes two bars. Even if it isn’t showing a one bar boost always, internet works faster. I tested this along with the Drive Reach. Many times they seemed to provide the same boost, sometimes this unit seemed to do slightly better or worse than the $500 unit.My major qualm is that while the build quality is better than some Chinese product, it’s not good enough for $200. I used the product once and the rubber around one of the cords already cracked. Also I drove on one moderately rough gravel road and the vent mounter phone case/holder fell off. I was able to get it back on but if you’re talking about a product that is intended to be in a car off the beaten path, it needs to be better for $200, especially considering the fact that nowadays cell towers are almost everywhere. That’s a note, at least I’m California there were only several spots I even needed this machine, even considering I was in the mountains. There were still spots neither Drive Sleek or Drive Reach worked. When it did work, what it meant was that I didn’t have to drive five minutes to a spot where my cell worked without this machine. So I would say if I needed it for work or for a demanding wife or kids on camping trips, it may be of some utility. But for me, this is a luxury item. I can camp and have phone in Spot X instead of having to drive 5 minutes to Spot Y down the road where I will have signal even without this device. So for me the build quality wasn’t high enough to justify the price tag for this luxury. It’s definitely worth $50- maybe $100 at most for me.The positive note is that while the build quality on the $500 unit is much better, I found the function of the two devices on 4G and 5G to be essentially the same. You still usually need to have the device very close to the receiver on the Drive Reach, so it’s basically the same product except the cell phone holder (while not excellent) is still helpful to keep the phone near the booster.
- The booster works. I usually get one additional bar of signal when I place my phone in the holder. My only complaint is the adhesive dash mount broke and haven’t been able to get another one.Now I have a broken phone mount stuck to the dash on my new truck and cannot use it.CHEAPLY MADE.
- Easy to install and it does improve reception
- It\'s a great booster but the cradle stops working
- I like the end result quite a bit.Installation took maybe 5 minutes. It’s basically plug and play.I attached the antenna to the roof (via magnet), routed the cable through the trunk hatch (Honda Pilot), then routed the wires and components under seats and floor mats.Signal booster base detaches easily from the magnet mount so you can enter directions while holding it in your hand and still get a boost. We tried it on a trip to the coast through mountain range, and it performed really well. It gives you about 2 extra bars on average, which is definitely welcome in case you’re stranded somewhere.Booster only works when plugged in and car is running, or key is on accessory. If you’re stranded due to a dead battery it might not be of great help. It does however plug in into the cigarette lighter, so if you have a small emergency battery bank you should be ok.Emergency aside, it’s really great for driving every day. Our side of town has signal dead spots and this booster helps a lit having fewer dropped calls. I use my phone for work quite a bit, and can see a significant difference between the car I have the booster installed and the car that doesn’t.
- After witnessing a horrific Motorcycle cycle accident while out on my Harley and it took an hour and seventeen minutes to get him help due to the signal I decided to start looking for some type of a boost system for my Harley. Yes, I installed this on a 2014 Harley Davidson ultra limited. And it works really well. several weeks after this gentleman had his accident I installed this on my Harley and I rode out to the same area where I was able to pick up a signal and make phone calls a quarter-mile from the original accident scene. Keep in mind I had to ride 30 miles originally to get him help. After getting the Weeboost system it only took riding a quarter-mile before I was able to get a signal where I could call out. These could literally save peoples lives. So far I am very happy with it even though I have installed it outside of its original manufacture suggestions it works very well on my Harley Davidson Ultra Limited Touring motorcycle. I will upload pictures later for those of you that are interested in trying to do it. I’ve always been one of those guys that goes out riding to get away from my phone and communication and to zone out. But I always take my phone with me just in case something happens. Boy am I sure glad I now have the ability to call out on certain desolate mountain roads
