- Where I live I get really bad cell reception. So I have always wanted to get something to boost the signal. When I had at&t they had something that worked but you had to put in your cell phone number for it to work. Now I have Verizon and this device worked the second it booted up.
- The gains or benefits of this cell signal booster will vary significantly based on your situation and how it\'s installed. For many individuals or situation this signal booster will help improve cell signal in your house/workshop/shed/work but for others the benefit might be minimal to frustrating.The signal booster needs a certain amount of signal to effectively boost the signal if you don\'t have any cell coverage it\'s not going to help no matter what you do. Second it depends on how your house/work or wherever you install this is laid out and is highly variable. I was trying to boost the signal in a two story house where the coverage is decent upstairs next to the window but terrible in the stairs that in the middle of the house and drops significantly downstairs due to other two story houses nearby. If the signal booster is installed downstairs it doesn\'t help with any calls upstairs or in the middle of the house such as the stairwell.If you are taking a call in the upstairs then walk downstairs it sometimes switches to the booster sometimes it doesn\'t and drops the calls intermittently. Trying to get your cell phone to switch to the booster seems like a hit or miss situation as sometimes the phone (iPhones used by everyone in the house) switch other times you have to put it in and out of airplane mode to force it to switch. I understand this isn\'t a fault of the signal booster but it\'s something you might need to consider.The house is a two story SFH with stucco exterior walls so the cell signal from the tower varies considerably throughout the house. If you\'re in an area of the house with little to no windows and stucco on two or three walls the signal is usually one bar or less but if you walk to the window the signal may be much stronger. You need a descent line of sight to the tower or be able to mount the outside antenna up pretty high. If you live an apartment and don\'t have a line of sight to the tower I don\'t think the booster will help much in your situation.If you start a call or facetime video on your phone while connected to the booster the call is much better than OTA from the phone to the tower. But if your signal strength varies considerably throughout your location and your phone doesn\'t always connect to the booster the improvements can be minimal. You\'ll need a location to mount the outside antenna that you can route the cables back inside your building/house/work and that has power nearby and you can mount the indoor antenna for decent coverage of the area with bad coverage.

While we sit on a ridge line, there are ridge lines to our West and East that block most of the signals that come our way. From our home we only get 1 -2 bars of reception at best. Outside of our home, we would be lucky to get 3 bars.I initially didn’t install this setup permanently because I didn’t think it was going to work. I was very skeptical about this product as I have tried other products for TV reception that just didn’t work. This product however did give us 1 - 2 more bars when you are in the vicinity of the indoor antenna.I wish the coverage was a bit larger of an area, but at least, we now have spots in our home that we can get 4 bars on a good day. But we generally see a constant 3 bars now. While it is not extreme, every little bit helps. Remember: This does not generate a cell signal, this is only a booster. For me, it is doing the best it can at boosting the signal we are receiving.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, this works as advertised. It did take some time to make small adjustments to dial in the signal. But once that was done I have not had to mess with it again. There is no static or noise on the line due to the booster.
