beyerdynamic Free BYRD Black True Wireless Bluetooth in-Ear Headphones, Active Noise Cancelling, Long Battery Life, Microphone, IPX4, Sound Personalization and Alexa Built-in
- Quite impressed with the Free Byrd’s sound quality; the bass kicks even more than the Sennheiser MTW3 with more volume imop. Battery life has been above average, they can go for hours.Only two caveats, are that the earbuds themselves are somewhat bulky. Also, the Active Noise Cancellation is lacking in comparison to the MTW3. Otherwise, liking the Free Byrds & can’t wait to see what refinements are made for the Gen II version. Hopefully they’ll be a bit smaller, with improved ANC.
- Let me start this off by saying I do not care about true wireless features like ANC, microphone quality, or anything but comfort, sound quality, and battery life. I think these are by far the best true wireless earbuds I have ever heard. The bass is unbalievably crisp and punchy but not muddy. The highs are crisp and smooth. The battery life is unbelievable. They are very comfy, tons of bud tip options (including expandable foam thank god!!!) I have worn these for well over 10 hours in a day multiple times; I work an office job where I have earbuds in all day and I usually have buds in at home after work, I wear buds/headphones more than 99% of people and these are not fatiguing at all. I do have large ears though so the large profile of these buds does not bother me at all, something to consider though. These are not my workout buds, those are the Shockz open run pro, but these stay in my ear nicely. If you just care about sound quality these are the buds for you in this price range. They sound significantly better than my DT770 pros, which I think is very impressive for a true wireless earbud. I have always felt ANC to be a gimmic, these block most noise without ANC if you have the volume above 25%, ANC is totally not needed if headphones/earbuds are well designed to begin with. Buy these cause they sound phenomenal!
- Free BYRD brings nothing new at all to the table. The sound quality is not great. Better than Airpod Pro yes. But worse than wf-xm4 and far worse than MTW3 to me. The ANC is worse than Airpod Pro and xm4. Equally bad as MTW3. The comfort is fine but MTW3 is better. The earbud bodies are HUGE but they do stay in place. You spend $250+ on a TWS for its superior sound quality. Or you should just get the galaxy buds or airpod pro or w/e at ~$100. BYRD sounds lean and brightish with not so great detail. The bass lacks any texture or substance. The mid is lean and grainy at times. Treble is peaky and hiss all the time. There are eq options but you really only either get warm no detail bloated sound or peaky lean boring sound.I still like this one better than Airpod pro but I vastly prefer MTW3 for sound quality and wf-xm4 in general. This is going back.Edit1: Already sent back and not missing it one bit. Another con I forgot to mention is the wireless charging DOES NOT work with my wireless charging pad that works flawlessly with Airpod Pro and MTW3.
- I\'d like to think of these as the spiritual successor to my beloved Soul BYRD wired earbuds. (Criminally underrated set, by the way.) I\'m really struggling to think of anything that I don\'t like about these new Free BYRDs to be quite honest. There is a very nice selection of ear tips included, with both silicone and foam tips provided. Fit and comfort are extremely subjective, but these are just about perfect for me personally. I feel like they just disappear once I\'m wearing them, and all that remains is my music. Bass is quite good with this set, provided you take the time to find the correct ear tips for your ears. Mids are clear, and don\'t sound muffled or muddy at all. Treble is good without sounding too sharp or sibilant. I\'d describe the default tuning as fun sounding, rather than flat or neutral. I have at least a dozen pairs of true wireless earbuds, and this new set from beyerdynamic is already one of my favorites. It might not be the best in every single category, but the real magic is that it does everything so well overall that you won\'t care. If you\'re in the market for a new true wireless set, give these a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
- Amazing headphones, except when they don\'t charge for whatever reason. Might be the case was low on battery but not when you set them to charge, only indication is an orange or white light. Might be that you did not set the headphones in the exact place to charge them quick. My left side has something loosen so if I shake my head it kind of shakes around. Some days it works perfectly. Some days I can spend an hour trying to charge one side just because it didn\'t charge for whatever reason. There\'s no equalizer in the app aside from whatever they please determine so I cannot set my own whatever. There\'s no equalizer in the app aside from whatever they previously determined so I cannot set my own set.
- This is the best sounding earphones so far that I have tried and I have bought and returned so many of them. Unfortunately I also have to return these.ProsThe bass is amazing. It can deliver soft and punchy basses. The mid is great. The singers voice is very clear. The highs is no rolled off. It maybe sibilant for others but for me this perfect as it makes the instruments aounds sounds so clear.ConsThese are too big. I want a pair that I can use for music listening and also for video chats for work but these are not discrete at all. Which is the reason I return it.The volume control is difficult but I can live with it. Its better than nothing.
- I think that it is the best performance in the same price range.I\'m glad I bought it
