Jabra Evolve 65E UC & Link 370
- It\'s proving difficult to find a headset that ticks all the boxes for use in a manufacturing environment where you still need to make calls. The sound and build quality on this set is very good, the app is nice, and I\'m told the call quality is much better than the other sets I\'ve used in the past (mostly cheapos, so no surprise there). They\'re comfortable though I\'m used to wearing headsets all day so I may be more used to the \'ear fatigue\' than most.As others have mentioned, the button placement for these things is god awful. The more frequently used buttons (volume up/down and pause/resume) are on the UNDERSIDE of the neckband portion, not the ear portion, so you\'ve got to practically dig into your shirt to pause what you\'re listening to. If you\'ve got a sweatshirt on, forget it. One other really annoying thing is that pause/resume is a long press, not just a quick tap, so that adds even more time to get to the buttons. Really annoying. Not unhappy with these, but I\'m also not done searching for a better solution. Since I use these for work, call quality was a big factor in my decision; if I didn\'t care about calls there would be no reason to justify the price.
- I often take 4+ hours of work calls. I need a solid battery life. I want something I can easily switch between work and personal computers. I want a headset that dependably connects for those unexpected meetings. I want something that does not compress my glasses into my head. The Jabra 65e provides all of those. I\'ve been impressed at the battery life and the dependable connection. However, the ear wings are super hard. I switched down to the smallest ear piece size and still my ears ache within the first hour. I\'m still going to use the headphones because they match all my other needs. But still.... I wish I could find softer ear pieces.
- OK in quality. The only issue that I have had is the ear buds tips staying on. They pop off and are very hard to put back on. I have struggled with finding the correct size for replacements. I\'m currently on my second pair of the Jabra Evolve 65E within a year and countless ear bud tips.
- Overall this is a good headset I work from home. The only thing I have a complain about is the noise canceling is not even there. There’s no such thing as noise canceling with this headset. Battery life is good I worked a 12 hour shift and had to plug it in after about 11 hours. I use it every single day. And I would recommend this if you don’t need noise cancelingUPDATE....08/25/22 MY BATTERY IS STARTING TO GO AFTER WORKING FOR 8 HOURS... AROUND 7 1/2 HOURS I START GETTING A MESSAGE THAT BATTERY LOW.
- I’ve owned a set for almost 2 years now and love them! Clear and crisp sound. Price has gone up 50 bucks since I purchased in 2021, but so has everything.
- oh, darn, the meeting is starting ... where\'s that darn \'add bluetooth\' device whatever on the laptop??? missing the meeting ... c\'mon sound!!!doesn\'t happen with these ... you plug in the USB thingie and BAM, the headset is now perfectly connected to your computer ... no muss - no fuss. I did not know that there are headsets that have that ... so the very nice pouch my headset comes with contains a bunch of extra ear pieces (but frankly the ones on the headset out of the box are outstanding), I can actually keep the instruction manual with the headset, and then a little pouch at the top that contains the usb adapter so that I have connection/sound the instant that I plug in ... as good as the old-fashioned audio plug!!!Well done Jabra!!!
- I needed a headset to use for Zoom and MS Teams calls but really didn\'t want the kind that go over your head and ears. I cannot wear regular ear buds because they just won\'t stay in my ears. I definitely need ones that have wings to help keep them in place. I searched a long time for that type of ear buds but couldn\'t find any with a microphone. I heard that Jabra was an excellent brand so I checked them out. I\'m so glad I did. They have several types of headsets and these are perfect for me. They have a unique design to the earbuds and multiple sizes of wings included. I actually use the smallest ear buds with the largest wings and they work for me. The sound quality is great for listening and speaking. They work with my phone and laptops and support multiple platforms. Excellent choice!
- These are made for all day comfort. I\'ve been using them regularly and seem to get a full day use out of them which includes listening to music and using for video conferencing and phone calls. They have a great feature that allows them to connect to both the included usb bluetooth (Link 370) and a phone at the same time. It connects easily to both apple and android phones. The sound quality has been great, I have not had any complaints about not being able to hear me and I can easily hear everyone during a conversation. I like the magnetic buds, it helps them from swinging around when I do not have them in my ear. Maybe my only complaint would be the micro usb connection for charging. Most of my products have gone to usb-c and this just seems obvious, its just another charger that would need to be carried around.
