- This UHF microphone kit is great for videos that require a handheld microphone. It’s a UHF microphone which gets better range and stability than a 2.4GHz set up that most smartphone kits use. The received also included a handheld stabilizing mount that allows you to mount your phone for a more stable shot, as well as an LED light for darker shoots. It also allows for remote control of the smartphone camera. I like that the included LED light had 3 different brightness levels, although it only has one color temperature, which is a balance between warm and cool. The display on the microphone and the receiver is great to check signal strength and adjust channel set ups. The audio quality is good and stable and clear. Really the only thing I don’t like, which some people do prefer, is that it requires both AA and AAA batteries. I prefer built in rechargeable.
- I was really excited about this since I’m a writer and it looked great when I opened it, just in a few different pieces but it was difficult to put together and pair, and the instructions weren’t that clear so I had to do some googling. Once I got it figured out though it worked really well!
- The user manual of the product is not very clear. So I had a hard time connecting to the phone. After providing the link, I discovered all the conveniences. I was able to do all my recording work comfortably even with one hand.
- I am a Travel Professional, so I do lots of videos of properties to show clients, and this does make the recording soooooo much more easy. I haven\'t figured out how to quite get the mic to work, as the instructions aren\'t 100% clear. But as far as pairing the holder to my phone to just record and stop with one hand, and everything stable, and using the light......absolutely amazing. I\'ll be back to update when I figure out the next part!!
- Package came in 3 pieces. Fairly straight forward setup. Quality of parts, fit and finish are good. Can easily be put in a small bag or backpack for easy transport and storage. Makes sure to have AA/AAA batteries on hand for this kit. Mic quality and output are good, The system offers adequate wireless range for proper operation in the field. The phone tripod/stand is clever and versatile. Light is adequate for most vlogging shots in low light. Comes with a Lightning cable adapter for ios portable devices. A bit pricey imo.
- This comes with several small pieces to assemble! Not a fan!Stand transmitter takes I believe 3 triple a batteries and microphone 2 double a batteries!The light is a cute bonus!The instructions!!!!!!! Omg the most annoying thing!I had to watch a couple YouTube videos to figure it out which I’m still not pleased.The only way I was able to wake the mic work with my iPhone was plugging the hack in the headphone slot on the transmitter vs the mic slot which I can’t hear myself as I speak or hear others if I was on a live etc and I hate thatIt’s ok
- The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE this MOVO Vlogging Influencer set. First, setting it up was fairly easy but I did have to really concentrate on the instructions for the handheld receiver WMX-20-SP. I wasn\'t getting audio from the handheld microphone to my phone video but I knew it was me, \'operator\' error. I realized I connected the cable from my phone into one of the audio channels instead of connecting it from my phone to the Line Out on the side of the receiver. After I corrected that, the sound was AMAZING (check out clip for audio sample). it was crisp and clear and it remained just as clear from where I was standing all the way to the opposite end of the RV.The microphone is unbelievably good quality. Oh, let me tell you, the little LED-30 light, that thing is BRIGHTTTT. I was so surprised at the light power that thing put out.This is a small but powerful little unit I can grab, throw in my purse and go do interviews and Vlogs. It\'s a very small footprint with incredible quality sound.
