- I love taking professional video on my road trip, hiking, rock climbing and outdoor activities that involved a lot of movement. After i had been looking for some gimbal stabilizer for my iPhone on the market, then i decided to give this one a shot. what i love the most about the Zhiyun Smooth 5 gimbal is that it has the 360 degree spin around feature, i can use this feature to spin clock wide or counter clock wide that i want which i need the most in my video. It also has some other cool modes that i need by simple press on the mode button then it will indicate on the LED display which is so useful. i also love the Lock Mode when i can lock all axises make my video came out smoothly. In addition, i love when i can put my phone either vertically or horizontally depends on the video i take. it took me a while to get good at balancing the phone on the gimbal, the clamp can hole the phone very secure. They adjustment wheel is very useful and as well as the tripod is handy to have when set up on the table. Overall material for the gimbal is good. However this app on that use for this gimbal will need some improvement, i had a hard time to bluetooth with the gimbal and had to remove the app and started reinstall. Overall this gimbal does the job that i need and worth the price that i spent.
- Tested with Samsung S21 Ultra. App was limited and no on-board settings. Cannot connect external microphone because port is blocked. Other gimbal offer more within this price points
- The media could not be loaded. Shogun smooth 5 works smoothly. I did a family weekend video using its own app. It works great! It will guide you to shoot a video with different views, very professional and easy to use.
- It integrates well with their native app now as of this date, also works very well with Filmic pro.
- Very easy to use, the app that comes with it is very useful ,I found it particularly useful for shooting hand held time lapse videos in windy situations,Gives a professional feel at a very competitive pricing
- I\'ve tried for almost a year to figure out how to use this thing...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn\'t, firmware upgrades and then nothing works, yesterday it worked fine, upgrade today and now it won\'t follow anything. So I finally did what I should have done a long time ago...threw it in the trash.
