- Okay, here\'s the deal with this headset. It has probably one of the best noise-cancelling microphones on the market. It\'s comfortable. It\'s easy to use. It sounds great, and the connection is solid. So, all that said, why in the world would I give something that sounds nearly perfect a 4/5?Well, if you do a little digging on Amazon, you\'ll probably figure out why. See those headsets that look identical to this one, like the TECKNET trucker headset that routinely sells for 1/2 to 1/3 the price of this headset? I own that one too. If there\'s a difference, I can\'t figure out what it is. They both sound and perform amazingly. I could hand you both of them, and cover the branding, and I don\'t think you could spot the difference.In summary... is it a fantastic headset? Absolutely. For the price, knowing it\'s essentially a clone of something much cheaper, I simply couldn\'t recommend it while the TECKNET version exists on the market. That being said, you are definitely not going to be disappointed in this one if you pick it up. It beats headsets that cost many times more than it does as well.
- Car and Driver as a headset brand? I have a large head for a woman, so I thought I would give this one a try since it seems aimed at men. This set is comfortable for a range of head sizes and the sound is great. The headset is so much sturdier than the flimsy ones I usually get. The mic is noise cancelling and sounds great. The microphone branch is flexible and you can position it however you like. It comes with a charging cable so you can charge it in the USB port in your laptop or the wall (for those of use with newer Macs and they did that annoying thing of taking away our USB ports). Mine connected immediately to my older MacBook pro and sounded great in a Zoom meeting. This set seems to be worth the extra money.I haven\'t tested how long a charge lasts on these, but if they come up short on that I will come back and report.EDIT: I have had this for a couple of weeks to see how it works. It is made more for a man\'s head, but it does work on mine. I am finding that I can\'t turn my headset volume up as much as I would like. I also have trouble with turning it on and off with predictable results. Disappointing.
- I chose this headset for long drives when I’m traveling in my car alone, and it does work well overall from a functional standpoint. My state has a handsfree law with which you can actually get ticketed if you are caught holding your phone up to your ear, so something like this is a must have for me. I like the button layout and the microphone is positioned well. Also, the headset was relatively easy to pair using Bluetooth on my phone.The sound and noise cancelling are both very good, but my only complaint is that after a while it gets uncomfortable for me to continue to wear it. In my opinion, the ear cushion should definitely be bigger. Maybe I just have too much of a big fat head and overly sensitive ears lol! It is still a good headset, but I personally need to take it off after a while, so I am only giving it 4 stars and deducting one star for the lack of long-lasting comfort.
- I was excited to get this \"trucker headset\", a pricey upgrade ($109 at the time of this review) to a cheap $18 trucker headset I\'ve been using for about a year. This \"Car And Driver\" headset promised so very much in the Amazon listing, but mostly failed to deliver anything exceptional. Comparing it to my $18 dollar headset: - The $18 headset is actually more comfortable. - The $18 headset has less of a cheap, plasticy look and feel. - The $18 headset includes a very useful feature where mute is engaged when the boom is lifted. I miss that feature on the C&D headset. - The $18 headset doesn\'t have any advanced noise cancelling features, but people hear me just fine on either headset and I hear people just fine on either headset.I really wanted to love this headset, but I don\'t. I don\'t hate it either, it\'s a fine headset, but for north of $100 it needed to wow me to be worth the cost. It didn\'t wow me.
- These are a high quality headset at an OK price.Pros:They connect reliably.The sound is great, very clear and no distortion!They are small and compact.Very sturdy.You can use them on either ear.Fits large head.Mic works great.What I didn\'t like:Volume does not go high enough with a lot of road noise.Very little physical noise cancelation. I find myself pressing it tighter to my ear to cancel out road noise.Overall, I like these. They are great when at home or the office.
- Handsfree devices are the only way to go these days and this headset will give you a quick install and connection. It has decent sound and could be a little louder with the volume bit all in all not a bad headset.
- This headset works very well. You can hear and be heard very clearly while using it on a call. It stays in place, but it feels too snug after a while and becomes uncomfortable. The price is a bit high compared to other headsets with the same quality of sound that are a bit more comfortable for long time use. I will use it, but when it comes time to replace it, I will go with another brand.
- I like these, but they aren\'t my favorite headset.The sound quality and connection are great, and the noise cancellation seems to work well. The controls are also great; simple to use and work well. The problem that I have with them is that the earpiece, while well padded, seems pretty small and it wasn\'t the most comfortable thing for me.Your mileage may vary and the earpiece might feel fine to you. If you need to talk in noisy environments, these are worth a look.
