  • I bought these headphones after owning DT880s and absolutely loving them. The sound quality and comfort make my day...every day. Personally a good pair of headphones pays for itself. While I am working all day, having music be even more pleasurable is such a great experience. They are built to last, so if you take care of them they are a no brainier investment.
  • I\'ve had the Beyerdynamic T90 cans for several years. I\'ve always thought they were really good, but then read a review somewhere that the DT1990\'s were a big improvement. I tried these along with the Focal Elegia cans. It was initially a tough call for me, but I kept being drawn more to these. They are indeed studio reference headphones, which is not my criteria. However, these sound incredible to my ears. The bass is just right for me...if you\'re a bass head, you\'re going to be disappointed. For me (and I\'m truly not an audiophile), these are just right. The soundstage is very expansive, the treble issues that others have mentioned with other Beyer cans has NOT been a problem in my ears. The mids are just right.I will say they really ARE best with a good DAC/headphone amp. I\'ve used these with a Dragonfly Red, and a FiiO Mont Blanc portable amp/DAC. When I use them with my FiiO X5 DAP, it\'s like rediscovering my music brand newly in a lot of cases. They also really enriche music I listen to on Qobuz, with the Dragonfly Red connected to my 2020 MacBook Air. My ONLY complaint thus far is the clamping on them are a bit tight for my taste, but I rarely have the time/opportunity to sit for hours listening to music; so, for how I actually use them, the comfort level is just fine. These ARE for home...they\'re going to suck as a gym set of cans or on the subway. For that, I\'ve got my Sennheiser Momentum 3\'s and AirPod Max cans. I certainly encourage people looking for a great higher-end set of cans to try these...they\'re really high quality without paying Focal Mg Clear or Celestee prices.
  • Top to bottom best headphones I have owned!
  • great headphones
  • They are great.
  • Loved them!
  • Please do your research before buying. These need a amp/dac. These won\'t food at all being used on normal 3.5mm plugs.
  • It sounds amazing, yet not amazing enough for its absurd price.It\'s closed back so comfort is debatable.Get something sub $500 is more than enough.
