MASTER & DYNAMIC MW07 GO True Wireless Earphones - Water Resistant Earbuds - Sport & Travel Bluetooth, Lightweight in-Ear Headphones - Jet Black
- So since the virus lockdown I have been on a quest for the perfect wireless buds that will stay in when I work out (and I work out hard!). I used to do jiu jitsu (no headphones allowed!) but with the virus I have taken up circuit training and elliptical and running, and the buds I was using (jabra 65t) were fine for hanging out but not vigorous work outs. The Jabras kept falling out. I do have a deformity in my right ear from wrestling so nothing works as well in that ear, but even the left Jabra bud would fall out when I ran. Otherwise they are very good buds.So then I bought the Jaybird Vistas The Jaybirds come with a wing tip that I thought would solve my problem. So here are the pluses. Excellent sound and base (better than Jabra)! Rapid and reliable paring. Excellent case with good size, feel and function. Class 7 water proof. Excellent companion app that controls EQ and also button function (super useful) These buds are sturdy, light and function extremely well. Here are the down sides. When they are in place they really seal the ear canal so that every step is an internal thud in your head. With sweat the seal is even more annoying. Because of this when someone talks to me I want to take the bud out and it does not have a proximity sensor so it does not automatically stop. I have to take the extra step of pushing the pause button. Not a deal breaker at all, just saying. But I still could not get the right bud to stay in when I work out. The left was always fine but these are proprietary wing tips that function as one unit and only come in small medium and large. They do not allow separate adjusting of the bud portion versus the wing tip (which can be found in other devices such as the much much cheaper but very good wired anker soundcore spirits). The rubber is also thick and not as comfortable as other tips. So if you have weird asymmetric ears these may be a problem for you. If you want some ambient noise or venting in your ear canal these may not be right for you. But if you have normal symmetric ears and have never had a problem with ear bud fit these are awesome buds.Note: I returned the Jaybirds and have since tried the Powerbeats Pro as well as the Master and Dynamic Go buds. Both of these have crisper all around sound than the Jaybirds but maybe less powered base. The Master and Dynamic Go buds have excellent battery life, a good case, good connection and very nice sound (crisp in all ranges, but not for heavy base lovers). They don\'t have a companion app or proximity sensor and the buttons are also a little small to easily find during exercise. The buttons are also a little small to easily find during exercise. Unfortunately their take on wing tips to maintain fit sucks. They just don\'t stay in when I work out, even my good left ear. They came up with a proprietary wing that seems like a good idea and is separately sized than the tips (so you can do a lot of mixing and matching), but they just don\'t work that well compared to normal wings (which Bose has been doing for years). They are very comfortable though and if you have very normal ears these might be the buds for you. I wanted to keep these but they just didn\'t do what I needed them to do.The Power beats pro are the best. They have excellent sound which is extremely crisp (though the tip size needs to be experimented until they create a good seal-this is important). The base is not overwhelming and the sound is as good as the Master and Dynamic buds (which are famed for their sound). They are vented so that sound filters in and I don\'t have that trapped in my own head feel. The buttons are identical on both sides and easy to use. I am an android user and they still work and pair extremely well including with voice activated google assistant (versus Siri). Most importantly they completely solve FOBFO (fear of buds falling out). Its like being an insomniac for all of your life and taking an ambien for the first time! They do not budge no matter what exercise I do. They have a hook that slides around the whole ear so they are more obtrusive and are quite visible. They are also not the most comfortable (the master and dynamics won that). Down sides: They have a lousy companion app that does not enable fine tuning of equalizer settings and the case is ginormous! There is no way I am carrying that thing around in my pocket. Purse or backpack yes, but not pocket. Fortunately they have 9 hour battery life so I never take the case with me.Winner: PowerBeatsPro---got them refurbed at Best Buy for $149 and saw them on Amazon for $200 during sale-so don\'t spend the $249 they are currently advertised for.
- I bought these for running about a year ago. They\'re great looking and the sound is above average. However, when running through an intersection in New York City they would cut out, severely distort or delay the music. M&D offered some lame troubleshoots that didn\'t fix the problem. I let it go through because soon I was back home in Los Angeles where the interference issue was much less, but not flawless. Now, the earbuds kick out or turn off about 2 minutes in, when you get them started about they kick out after 30 seconds. They\'re fully charged, they\'re a year old. I don\'t know what else to say other than this was a mistake purchase, especially for the price tag. I\'ll be going back to Apple products.
- The sound quality isn\'t great, but they are definitely good enough. The problem with all earphones is the fit; and with a non-perfect fit, these sound as good as the Sony WF-1000XM3 earphones (with a perfect fit, the Sony is hard to beat). Getting a perfect fit is difficult and sometimes painful, so in the normal case I think the sound quality of these is comparable. The best part of these is that they really do last 10 hours on a charge, which is almost twice what the Sony can do (with noise canceling disabled). Secondly, these are the third earphones I\'ve tried, I returned the other two because after a few hours they hurt my hears and hurt to remove or adjust them. With these, I\'m able to fit them so that they don\'t hurt (at least not yet) even through a whole 8-10 hour work day. Adjusting them after 6 hours if I have the fins on did hurt, but after removing the fins, so far so good.I have had a few weird connection issues, but rarely; twice they turned off by themselves. Once I think because there was no audio playing for a while, and the other I\'m not sure why but I just pushed a button and they came back. I haven\'t had intermittent audio from these, while I did in more expensive earphones, in the same scenario (standing 2-3 feet away from my laptop).Overall good audio, good fit, great battery life.
- ProsGreat SoundComfortableLong BatteryConsBuds will fall out of ears sometimesCase refusing to charge buds or can\'t detect budsCase presenting wrong information regarding bud batteryI am a heavy user of these buds and I perform weekly maintenance on them to ensure they stay clean to increase the longevity of their lives. The premium I paid for this product makes me never want buy from this company ever again or even recommend them to users who want long lasting buds. Granted these buds sound absolutely amazing, probably one of the best in the market and the batteries are also long lasting for long lasting. The buds are comfortable but they never sit in the ear right regardless of size. The cons are real deal breakers for me however and I wouldn\'t have bought them knowing this will happen after a year of heavy use. I don\'t recommend this product unless you\'re planning on buying a new one after a year.
- These are the most comfortable in-ear earbuds I\'ve had. Earbuds normally hurt my ears and so I have the MW60 over-ear headphones which I LOVE. But the MW60\'s are made of leather and metal and I didn\'t want to wear them in the rain or at the gym when I\'m sweating. So I got the MW07 GO because they\'re water resistant and turns out they\'re super light and really comfortable. They come with several different sizes of silicon wings that form to your ear. They come with size medium on the buds and after a full 9 hours of wearing them I felt a little achiness at the end of the day. Then I tried size small and they fit perfect. After having them for two weeks and wearing them all day every day my ears never hurt and don\'t even notice them. These also have great sound quality. I find it hard to find good quality earbuds but these really capture all the layers of sound.
