• Sounds Good! Feels Good!
• So right off the bat, the sound is treble-heavy. If that bothers you, please wait and let me explain before you write this off! Here\'s the thing, I ALWAYS turn down treble. Treble physically hurts my ears. Yet, somehow, this little device has loud, clear treble that comes across as far less harsh than what I am used to. I don\'t know if the horn has something to do with that, but I feel like I hear lots of details in the music that I would have found unlistenable on most speakers. I still wish I could EQ it a bit tho. There is some occasional harshness, and the bass is virtually non-existent. Overall tho it is a very detailed and comfortable sound profile so I can recommend the sound quality as long as you\'re not buying it for a dance party.Onto the radio function. I\'ve owned many radios. There\'s an FM station I enjoy a few towns over, that I can listen to in my car, but once inside my house is incredibly difficult to try to tune into with any degree of clarity. This radio locks in easily, with only light static. (For the record, I use the external antenna, but still in it\'s default tidy tied up state). Don\'t use much AM, but I tried it and it works.The radio dial numbers are a little bit off from where you\'re actually tuned in. Guess that\'s fairly common, but for a new, quality product, I expected more. On the plus side, the smooth feel of turning the radio dial is actually a pleasure unto itself.
• I am not a knowledgeable audiophile, even though I am a professional musician -- but these might be the best speakers I ever heard. It\'s really hard to describe the sound quality as I believe it needs to be experienced. If I had to use a metaphor, I would say that every other speaker I heard puts every voice somehow on the same level, whereas these speakers actually separate voices almost spatially and give the sound equivalent of a 3-D image. Sometimes it feels as if you could \"touch\" the sound, if that makes any sense at all. The sound is somehow present in such a way that it seems to be taking place live, right there in front of you. The radio is high quality as well. Truly amazing, I highly recommend it and will order another.
