- The mids are quite remarkable with these pair of iems. Guitar centric music tends to pop more when mids are plenty. I\'ve tried many and bought plenty chifi in regards to sound mids are usually a weak point including the T2. The T4s have sort of fixed the \'issue\' with the T2s being the lack of bass. However what\'s interesting about the T3s are they don\'t sound anything like the T2 or T4. I even did a review of the T4 being closely related to the T2 but I wouldn\'t put the T3s as part of that. It\'s a whole different beast. Yes, there is sibilance .. tolerable sibilance if I may add. Some may like it .. some may not. Because mind you sibilance was not the issue with the T2 pair of headphones. But a lot of what makes the T3 great isn\'t what made Tin Hifi become well known. They are good in the mids, highs a bit harsh, lows while present don\'t play any sort of big role. If anything, the sub-bass is a little lacking but the mid-bass punch is there. There are no slow responses but to me the guitars stand out a lot with T3s. If you can ignore sibilance highs which isn\'t bad unless you\'re the OCD type. Then these are completely viable pair of headphones to listen to. There\'s a lot of energy that\'s for sure .. I feel the mids are there. The texture allows more guitar centric music to fill in the void that many v-shaped and even neutral headphones don\'t do well. Most often than not I encounter the problem of guitars sounding rather thin in almost all pairs I\'ve owned including some of the most highly regarded (BLON-03, Moondrop Starfield to name a few). Bass is tight and punch but no low end growl so don\'t expect to have bass filling up areas that may sound a bit \'empty\' in the mix. That\'s not bad .. at all. There\'s nothing that sounds like these. I have no interest in paying for a pair of P1s and so this adventure and quest ends. T3 being the odd one of the bunch.
- KBEAR F1 is very unique looking earphone. The shape looks more like a Tetris block than an earphone, but this shape allows a very deep fit. The material is solid see-through brown plastic and it looks like one of those fossil preserved in amber piece. With the deep fit and solid build, these earphone has excellent isolation. In term of sound signature, I would say these are leaning toward bright. The bass doesn’t have much rumble, but it is quick and fast. This is a typical trait of balanced armature driver. The mid is the star of this earphone. It is clear and forward. Vocals on music are sublime. The treble has a bit of sparkles to them making bells and chimes sound clear and detail. For the price, I would say these are very good. If you are someone looking for an earphone with superb isolation with clear vocal and airy treble, I would recommend trying the KBEAR F1.
- I got the T3s about a year ago. The cable was nice enough; the fit was so-so with the left one snugging up to my hear but the right ear cable was pre-bent at a weird angle and never felt quite right; the frequency response was alright with some pretty grating sibilance but nice neutral lows and mids with surprisingly decent bass for IEMS. Unfortunately, the pair I got had an issue where the left channel was consistently louder than the right which eventually drove me insane. I gave up on them after a short bit.2As I approached the year mark I found them lying around and figured I should at least try to contact customer service. All correspondence with them was super prompt and they offered to send me replacement T3s and some T2s in case I just didn\'t like how they sounded. It took a while for Amazon to fulfill the replacements which we\'ve chalked up as a covid related delay but after about 5 weeks I have both pairs! The pairs they offered to send me were ones returned by others that did not like the sound. I was mildly concerned I\'d end up with another pair that had quality control issues, but I figured I would just contact them again if so. The T2s were in perfect shape and did not look used at all. The T3 box was torn up and someone had put mismatching buds on the headphones but  both sound alright and don\'t have the issues of the original headphones I received. Both are quite sibilant still but it hasn\'t bothered me much yet and perhaps they\'ll break in as some other reviewers have noted. If I feel ambitious I may post a detailed comparison of the two, but thus far it seems like they\'re both nice headphones. I can see where reviewers complains about the T2 cable being flimsy and the neck clincher slipping come from--if I like the T2s more I\'ll probably switch them out for the T3 cable.
- They have really done something wonderful here. Developing a Planer of this size seems to be something of the norm with Chinese companies and now you can get multi driver versions on Alibaba. The quality of these rival that of my most favorite pair for instrumental and critical listening - Etymotic er4sr. Not by a long stretch but enough to put the Planars in front. Both are very detailed and will bring out most of the shortcomings in any record. These obviously lack the low end but if you are fine with adjusting the spectrum to compensate they perform adequately. The mids and treble are just beautifully clear and what you would expect from the likes of much more expensive brands. The soundstage is good and a little wider than the Ety\'s. They give it to you with great defination. You will quickly learn to respect and miss that if you have other gear you use with a more spacious and warm signature. The cable is well made and does not fatigue or weigh you down. The braid from the y split is loose and not aesthetically pleasing to look at but it does not bother me one bit. I will not change it! The look and finish is gorgeous and if you like to sleep with a pair, this is king - something I\'ve been longing for with the Etymotics but settled with the Sure SE535.You really can\'t go wrong with these and I have a lot more respect for this company - who apparently makes heaps of high quality headphones at crazy affordable prices. They meet the customer half way and offer great value and I commend them for it.This was an easy 5 stars just for the value and experience so far. Great job Tin HiFi!
