Sony SRSHG1/BLK Hi-Res Wireless Speaker- Charcoal black
- The sound is really great, I have to give them that, but their firmware sucks. Their app is slow, a pain to use, and takes forever to get speakers setup how you want it. Every time I turn the speakers on to listen to music it takes a few minutes for them to start playing. If I walk out of range on bluetooth mode I have to restart my music app and Sony\'s Music Center app. 3 times I have had to re-setup my speakers which probably takes 10 minutes.Definitely planning on returning unless they come out with a good update. If they can properly fix these issues it would be 5 stars and a super deal for the price.
- Fantastic Speaker. Clear audio. Lots of functions.Pros:Clear audioGreat audio processingVarious inputs:Audio inWi-Fi connectedGoogle Cast (stream audio from youtube, google play music, NPR One, etc. via Wi-Fi)BluetoothUSB DAC (Hi-Res Audio)Cons:Bluetooth range is NOT 100ft. very mediocre. (But this is probably due to the overused and congested 2.4Ghz frequency in my area and not the speaker\'s fault.)Soft touch coating is finger oil magnetSides of button gather dust like crazynot water resistantThis speaker is one of the best portable speakers i\'ve used. It\'s pretty accurate in the audio range compared to others in the same price range. Would recommend this over a Bose bluetooth speaker anytime. It has plenty of input choices, it\'s even got Wi-Fi and Google Cast, so your phone doesn\'t even need to be within bluetooth range and you can \"Cast\" audio to it from not only your phone, but your computer, Google Home and anything that supports Google Cast.Set up was pretty painless. After downloading the song pal app, i tapped my android phone onto the NFC ontop and it paired successfully, i followed the prompt and connected it to my wi-fi network. It then asked to update the firmware. A few minutes later, it was up and running smoothly. Not much complaints, other than you must read the online manual, as the update changed some things. Such as turning on and off wi-fi (You hold the Set-Up button and Function button at the same time until the Network and Bluetooth light blinks. You know it was successful when the Link light lights up or turns off.) Another complaint is the complexity of status lights. They mean a lot of things. There\'s a charge light, which turns off when the speaker is powered on but it\'s still charging. There\'s multiple standby modes, such as orange for network standby, and red for low power standby. and they mean different things when blinking, etc. I recommend giving the manual a read. Yes i know, you hate reading manuals. But it\'s worth it.It also has a USB DAC built in which is really rare in a portable speaker, let alone at this price range, so you can plug it into your computer directly via USB and bypass whatever audio card/processing your computer does. Most of you probably won\'t use this function, but it\'s great addition.Overall, I\'d recommend you give it a listen. It has really crisp clear audio, with great bass when you want it. I really like it and it\'s great function for the price.
- Small but Strong Sound! Sony Bluetooth Speaker! If you don’t want a big and heavy speaker but a small, simple and refined design, then I would like to introduce this product would be the one for you! SONY h.ear go is a Bluetooth speaker that is portable and focused on sound quality with reasonable prices.DESIGNI love the exterior which is simple and brick shape. It looks no difference with other speaker but the colors and the materials are the biggest difference. It has five variable colors: sivana red, lime yellow, viridian blue, Bordeaux pink, and charcoal black. The edges are curved, so it prevents to get hurt and it gives gentle feelings. One of the other reason I love is the design that it matches with interior of my house and it is minimalistic design fits to every house. The weight is 790g, so it is light that is portable with long trip. It can also separate front grill, so I can clean dirt with water.SOUNDI did not expect when I bought it because it is small and the price was cheap. Usually the bigger and costly is, the greater sound it has. However, when I turn on the speaker, I was so surprised for excellent quality sound and such loud volume. Compared with the price, the product is extraordinary quality! My friend bought this with $200 in offline but in Amazon, I purchased it with $150 or lower. Mostly, I don’t like a high peach, sharp sound but this implements unique SONY sound. It expresses not too low but high-mid range are smooth. It generates balanced sound. When it comes to turn on extra bass, the quality changes that bass sound become stronger and similar to boss speaker. If there are people who has desires to listen to strong bass music, then this speaker would be the best.I experienced that it is highly tech-intensive product. It has DSEE HX, which is upscaling of bandwidth and frequency, ClearAutio-is technology to increase audio sound- and S-Master HX which reduces static noise. Usually, it has limitation to put those technology to small devices but this product has.I recommend this SONY Bluetooth Speaker. Obviously some people might not like it because individuals have different taste of sound range but as I mentioned, if people like to hear smooth and bass music, then this speaker will be your best choice. In addition, the appearance of the design is very modernistic and you will love it.
- I bought this device for the integrated chromecast. Unfortunately, it only plays a few songs before it decides to disconnect. I have other chromecasts in my home that work perfectly, so I doubt it\'s a networking issue.Bluetooth will not even connect to my phone (i have android... I also hate bluetooth). The only way I can use this thing is with a hardwired 1/8\" audio jack. Not exactly convenient.I\'ve also had issues with the battery. There\'s actually no way to turn this thing completely off. So if it\'s not consistently on a charger, it will be dead at some inconvenient point. Also, Sony did not make this. It\'s someone else\'s rebranded junk (or sony bought the company? I\'m not sure). The speaker does sound good though, and the battery does seem to last for a while.
- Excellent sound quality with good bass! The light weight built of the speaker makes it easy to carry around. Having 12 hours of battery juice allows you run your playlist over a 3-4 nights without needing a recharge. Only gripe is that the bluetooth connection range is rather short, having your device slight 30~40cm apart and your track will start breaking up.
