Asteroom 360 Camera 3D Virtual Tour Real Estate Kit - Gear Includes: Tripod, Digital Camera Rotator, Fisheye Cam Lens (Asteroom iPhone/Samsung Phone Case Not Included, Purchased Separately on Amazon)
- This has been a great product so far! I have shot my first residential property and the quality was fantastic. For the record I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+, which has a great camera. The home I shot was just a friend\'s home (so it isn\'t \"show ready\" but it\'s a great looking home overall) and I think it turned out great! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to give more value in their business that could benefit from 360/3D tours for a fraction of the cost it would be to hire someone each time. If anyone is curious, I am a real estate agent who does enough listings to care about having to hire this out each time.More in depth thoughts: When the product arrived, it was in the box and packaged well. It is not much to the pano kit, a white cylinder item, the legs for table top use, the fish eye lens and the software code for your account. Once activating my account, and downloading the app on my phone, the rest was pretty straight forward. Admittedly, I am a tech type person so using it was obvious to me and I did not need the guided tour.A couple of things I do recommend for best use: Be prepared to get a monopod or tripod. I fear monopods cause the image to come out shaky due to its instability so I recommend tripod. For 20-30 dollars, you\'ll have something that will enhance your experience and allow you to shoot in any room, and the heights you need. You always want to make sure to shoot this in well lit areas, just like you would for property photos. One thing I thought that was really cool in the app was the horizontal tilt correction. Even if I thought my device was shooting in a perfect cylinder motion, at times the thumbnail was crooked. I was able to fix that for each room, which was a huge time saver. My favorite part has been the support from Asteroom. They have been quick to respond to any thoughts or questions, and I look forward to keeping them in my arsenal of value I bring my clients!
- I recently found out about this camera and decided to give it a try for a home I was selling without an agent using a flat fee mls listing service, and this camera did the job of making my home marketable to the largest number of potential buyers. Homes are much easier to sell with a 3D tour, and you get less “tire kickers “ stopping by if they have already walked through the home virtually…. This camera was quick and easy to setup, and the app did an amazing job of putting a 3D tour together in high quality resolution. I had offers in sight unseen, sold the home within a week, and saved the costs of expensive real estate photographers. I now use this camera for videos of my rental properties, as it gives potential tenants the ability to tour the home any time day or night, and those that show up in person are generally the ones that are serious about renting. Pro tip, get the iPhone case for your camera to screw the lens into, very helpful. Note that you will get your first tour free, additional tours will cost you to host for 90 days at a time.
- If you\'re just getting started or want to incorporate 3D tours into your real estate photography, this is easily one of your best and most affordable options. Apparently if you order directly from the company, they include a phone case that makes attaching the wide angle lens easier, but I\'ve found that the clip works just as well. The only thing I\'ve noticed is that I can\'t keep my phone in it\'s regular case if I want it to fit in the rotator. The tripod isn\'t of the highest quality so it may not last more than a couple years, but with everything included in this kit, you\'ll be able to get to work right away. They even include codes so that your first tour (posting), 3D dollhouse, 2D floor plan, and image enhancements are all free. Otherwise, you can purchase these items separately or together as a bundle for your different tours on their website. There may be a couple more professional looking options out there, but this definitely isn\'t one to simply pass over, especially for the price!
- We purchased this system to use with our 360 camera. We used it twice and tried to recharge it - but the female connector inside the rotation piece was broken off. There was no way for me to repair this piece. It was connected to a small PC board with two small pins. I reached out to the company twice via Amazon and received no answer. The customer service is not good -- and it\'s almost a $100 piece of equipment.I WANT TO UPDATE MY REVIEW: I had sent my request to the company during the holiday season, and was unfortunately not able to get in touch with anyone. My feeling is the Christmas season for 2020 will be looked back as something most of us hoped to just get through without additional problems. After the season the President of the company reached out to me and let know what had transpired and assured me it would be all taken care of. He took care of everything. And better than I could have asked. We need more people in charge like this company president and to insure things are done right. The product that replaced the original is great and any problem they had they fixed. It is just a neat product. Take care and keep the camera spinning
- I like the product and it is easy to use however for my liking the images are very distorted in spite of being in the suggested case and clean phone and fisheye lense. I am impressed with the website and the 2d rendering however. Overall in spite of it\'s strengths I wouldn\'t have purchased seeing what I see now unless the company can find something to fix it...
- This device will take good panoramic 360 pictures. But you cannot create a 3D floor plans unless you pay additional $59 dollars for every use. Basically you are buying a tri pod with a phone holder.
