Lexar Professional 1800x 128GB MicroSDXC UHS-II Card (LSDMI128CBNA1800A)

  • I have used the same 2 cards for 3 years now on various jobs. The camera will use relay mode and these maximum size cards will let you shoot over 4 hours of 4k video
  • Out of all of my cards, this one is my favorite. This is the first V90 rated card I\'ve ever bought and there is a big difference when recording 4k video onto it. I put this in my drone and compared it to my other cards. Many cards have specs that will trick you and they don\'t put the V rating. They make all the other ratings look good, but if it\'s not a V90, for recording 4k or in a drone, you don\'t want it. If you\'ve ever wondered why there is a slight jitter or not so smooth pan or movement, this is why. Easy fix. Get a card with a V90 rating. If you find a card rated V90, all the other ratings will be high as well. If4 you get a V60 or V30, yes, you can save money, but you will always see it in your videos and think, D%@*, I should have got a V90. This card was a great price at the time and comes with an SD adapter card.
  • I use the 128GB cards in the Gopro Hero 8 Black mounted on fpv freestyle drones, and the Dji Mavic Pro 2. Other cards simply didn\'t have the power to keep up with the amount of information they needed to write in a 4k context.. Let alone 2.7k at higher frame and bit rates. The contrast in video quality was astonishing to me to say the least. The upload times are lightning fast when paired with the appropriate UHS II reader. It uploads 4k to my Ipad Pro at near real time speeds. Nothing else has even come close to that. It\'s rare for me to be someone with brand loyalty but Lexar has blown the competition out of the water with these cards in every aspect that matters. If you want to see what your 4k capable cameras can really do, this is the card you want.
  • This is the FASTEST MicroSDXC UHS-II card you can buy, Top speed rated at 285MB/s READ & about 115MB/s write. With the included card reader in my PC\'s USB-C 3.1 Gen-2 slot I was getting read speeds of approximately 272MB/s & write speeds of about 109MB/s. These cards run neck and neck with the fastest MicroSDXC UHS-II cards from SanDisk and are of equal quality. Not only that but that will only run you half the price of the comparable SanDisk cards. My next experiment will to buy a 128MB SanDisc UHS-II cared and use it in the card reader it comes with and compare read & write speeds with this Lexar.Lexar memory comes straight from the highest quality yields of CRUCIAL brand memory and I expect it to either beat out the SanDisk or run even with it.As a warning, both the SanDisk and Lexar UHS-II 1800x cards run extremely hot and are rated to withstand temps over 95 degrees celsius. I\'ve clocked both cards at 80 degrees and 85 degrees respectively whilst running at their max speeds. You will NOT be disappointed. I\'ve yet to have ANY failure rates from any Lexar SD or MicroSD, MicroSDHC, or these extraordinarily fast MicroSDXC Class 10l U3, UHS-II 1800x memory cards! If you don\'t need the extreme speeds, you can opt for the UHS-II 1000x speed or UHS-I 633x speed Lexar cards!
  • This product is very nice to have. However I have found that the advertised speed is not nearly what you obtain for realistic speeds. When used in S7 Edge phone, you averages are 80 mb read and 70 mb write. On a PC your average read and write is 177 read and 145 write (sequential). For 4k random read is very low, 11mb (depending on PC). I purchased this because I bought a Lumix FZ1000 and wanted the best card available. Also I have unlimited data so I can upload videos directly from the camera to the internet. However because I do not see an significant advantage in paying for a $200 Lexar micro SD compared to a $49.99 SanDisk card I decided to return the Lexar. I believe these micro SD cards will become extremely invaluable once the hardware can take full advantage of the speed. Additionally, most 4k video recording only requires 55mb write speeds as 60 fps records at 4K where each frame is about 17mb in size thus 55mb/sec write is extremely sufficient. Having the extra read/write speeds would be great if working directly with PC raid computing, but these are designed for portable devices. Most portable devices can\'t even take full advantage of the extra speeds.
  • I shoot a lot of drone footage for professional use (birddogdrones.com) excuse the plug....As I began to shoot more in 2.7 and 4k, I found the older SD cards that I had, could not keep up and handle the write speeds. Since I tried this card, I have had no issues and the video is perfect, smooth in full ultra HD. I am also very impressed with the cost of this card. Very reasonable when you compare to others. If you are going to shoot in 2.7 or 4k, you will need to buy a very fast card, this one has worked perfectly for us. Remember, recording 4k video chews up a lot of disk space very quickly... buy as much as you can...
  • I did a bit of research and found this chip to be the fastest and best value (at this point in time). Honestly, I was still worried about ordering, reading about so many Amazon customers getting cards that had only a fraction of the stated size - or just dying after a few months. I made sure to buy from a reputable seller and have been very satisfied with the product. I would recommend getting a card reader that is designed for the new generation UHS-II chips to take advantage of their higher speed, especially if you have Thunderbolt3 or USB3 ports. The card is backwards compatible (according to my un-scientific test) but just SCREAMS when plugged into my MacBookPro Thunderbolt3 port.
