I’ve owned the first generation AirPod pros for nearly two years now. I liked them very much. The only problem I found was the battery life. These AirPods second generation have a significantly longer battery life. The automatic pairing makes it simple to connect the AirPods to my iPhone. The only thing that annoys me is the way that the anchor for the wrist strap is set in the case. My hands no longer function properly due to neuropathy so it took me about an hour and some ingenuity to install the wrist strap through a leather case and through the anchor. The sound quality is superb
I tried to stay away from AirPods as long as I could, but I finally caved when my old Sennheiser wired buds died on me. I got the Pro 1’s used, and I was incredibly happy with them. When I saw the Pro 2’s at their Black Friday discount, I couldn’t resist. I am a daily user, and I continue to be impressed with their sound quality, ease of use, sound-cancelling, and especially passthrough mode. Honestly, sound-cancelling nearly deletes the world around you, and pass through makes it sound like you don’t even have headphones in. The build quality is terrific, and they’re incredibly comfortable. I fall asleep with them in often. Battery lasts about five hours, but they charge up incredibly quickly, so if you were to wear these on a long flight, provided you brought a charged case, you’d maybe have five minutes of downtime while topping off the Pod batteries. I cannot complain about these. 10/10
Honestly, this is very similar to gen 1. However, Apple finally reduced the base price of a model so I commend that. Get this if you find yourself in need of noice cancellation often, if you misplace your airpods and need your speaker, need connectivity to a string, or a bit of better battery. Not to mention better Find My overall. I enjoy it for sure.
My AirPod pro 1s gave me their more than my worth then died. The twos are also awesome with a few extra features (volume!!!) and SURVIVED GOING THROGH THR CLOTHES WASHING MACHINE NOT EVEN IN THEIR CASE. I always use tMemory foam tips from a well known 3rd party but the rubbery ones supplied are fine and less finicky in fact along with coming in 4 sizes. Like all predecessors it appears Apple wants us to lose them the case doesn’t secure them at minimum robber band thr case closed and there are other options which is annoying but they work so well otherwise especially if iPhone user amd mit rareified audiophile they’re basically an essential part of my life.
Really good but damn are these things easy to loose good product Probably the best all around and they are the most consistent
