Volessence Portable Charger 64000mAh, PD 100W USB C High Capacity Power Bank, PD3.0 Fast Charging Phone Laptop Charger Battery Pack for MacBook Pro/Air, XPS, Galaxy, Switch and More
- This power bank has a lot of capacity and flexibility. It can output 5V, 12V, 16V, 20V & 24V. it is rather big and heavy though so I\'m not sure you will want to carry this for travel but it is great if you plan to be camping or you have a power failure and you want a way to recharge multiple devices (up to 5 at once). Couple it with a portable solar panel and you have indefinite power. You turn on the power bank with a long press of the power switch. If you plan to use the 16V/20V/24V power outlet to charge a laptop, you must select the correct voltage by double clicking the power switch. This will toggle the voltage output, which is displayed on the bright digital display. The unit comes with a variety of cables and adapters, including USB to micro USB, USB-C to USB-C, a universal cable with 14 adapters and a cable I couldn\'t identify. It also comes with a neoprene zipper case with a pouch for storing some cables and a charging adapter. Unfortunately, the case doesn\'t have enough room to store all of the cables and charger so you have to be sure you bring the cables you need in advance. Missing are a cable for charging an iPhone or iPad and a Mini USB cable.Negatives:- It\'s Big and Heavy. Unfortunately, capacity comes with mass and size. There is no way around that. The device weighs nearly 4 lb. (62 oz. to be exact) and measures 8-3/4\"H x 6\"W x 1-5/8\"D standing with display pointing up.- The regulation out of the 5V USB jack is poor. Even a small load dropped the power below 5V. A 1 Amp load dropped the voltage below 4.8V.- The neoprene case is not nearly large enough to carry all the accessories. It will carry the power bank, cables and adapters if you really stuff the side pocket full but not the charger.- It\'s Expensive. At $259, this isn\'t cheap but it does a LOT. There aren\'t many power banks that can charge a laptop, let alone 5 devices at once.So this is a unique device that\'s not cheap but if you need it, it\'s worth it.
- Weighty, feels solidly put together in terms of the enclosure and the ports. But it’s VERY WEIGHTY and the impressive capacity essentially makes it ineligible for air travel, so YES it’s great for camping and road trips but you’re not leaving the country with it (maybe on a cruise..?).All of the accessory cables and adapters are nice, was surprised to find Thunderbolt and MagSafe cables in the box!Something I didn’t like, when slowly rotating the unit to look at it, was that I could feel a heavy, soft thud of - I’m assuming - the battery shifting around. Only happens on the long axis, it’s not completely loose in there but I wasn’t happy to feel ANY kind of internal shifting. Loses a star for this.Charged up to 100% in about 4.5 hours as quoted using the provided wall adapter.Charged a pair of game controllers, about 2% each.Charged an iPad Air from 1% to 100% in about 2 hours and used 12% capacity. It’s a beast! Definitely keep you up and running for a 4-5 days camping if you’re just looking to charge your phones, watches and some iPads (which usually can all last a day or more on a single charge).YMMV with laptops; newer Apple Silicon based MacBooks are super efficient and last days anyway. But I’ve got an Alienware PC laptop that burns through its battery in an hour or so doing very little. For camping or road trips, or as a battery backup for the house, this makes a lot of sense. It’s not cheap but has crazy capacity. But definitely be aware that you can not fly anywhere with this, at least from / within the US.
- Overall I really like this battery backup pack but it is very heavy for the size. The included soft case is very nice but struggles to hold the necessary cords and will not hold the AC adapter, it\'s a very tight fitting case. It arrived with no charge and took most of the day to fully charge up.
- It\'s currently $280 with $20 coupon (I wish Chinese companies would just set it at the actual price instead of adding ridiculous discounts)I prefer their \"60000mAh 130W\" version with the AC output. This one doesn\'t have one. Intead, it\'s a DC-output ports.I do love that it has a 100W USB-C, so I can charge my Gigabyte Aero 15 laptop. If you plan on traveling with this on the plane, you won\'t be able to as it\'s over the limit. It\'s heavy.
- Besides high end laptops this charger will charge just about anything you need it to. From phones, tablets, computers, etc. It has no problem charging my HP laptop, Pixel Pro 7, and even with an adapter my stereo boombox for SiriusXM. It comes with just about every adapter you need to power just about any laptop. It\'s very versatile and allows you hours of work/play without having to worry about being without power. I absolutely love this battery pack, it makes traveling and camping much easier. Overall I would highly recommend this charger for those that need to charge their power hungry devices on the go.
- This is absolutely amazing! If you are on the go this is a must-have! I have been able to charge my phone and computer simultaneously. This charges my MacBook pro twice and will charge my iPhone promax 14 7-8 times before needing a re-charge. This comes with all the necessary charging cords. It will take USB and USBc cable also.
