- Picked up the combo so I could have a case AND the little add-on light. So much better than the single LED on my phone, and it\'s got the four colored filters to make the video pop. Not my first rodeo with Zhiyun gimbals, so I\'ve already got the ZY Cami app installed....The cool thing is they include a year of ZHIYUN Prime in the cost of this combo. Basically gives you access to an online video editor with lots of filters, allows for livestreaming, 4k uploads, cloud saves, etc. Totally worth it!The gimbal itself has changed a bit physically from previous versions. This one has a lot easier access to buttons and charging. It\'s not going to be weather-proof, but that\'s okay for my purposes. I will be mainly shooting indoors or outside when the sun is nice and bright for the best shots. It\'s lightweight, but it doesn\'t feel cheap. The grip on the handle is pretty solid..overall good ergonomics.Motors are powerful enough to handle my iPhone 13 Pro Max in a thin case, and that\'s the most important thing to me. The mount feels pretty grippy so I don\'t think the phone will be going anywhere. Light attaches to the top of the phone mount via two magnets and is also powered through them. Have had no issues with it falling off on its own, even in strong wind. It\'s just about perfect.Things I would change (or prefer from their other models) - I wish this had locks to hold everything in place. They are friction locks, but I prefer actual clip locks. Also, I wish the light slotted into the mount rather than being stuck on with a magnet. 99% of the time this will be fine as is, but if I\'m going through a wooded area I worry it might become tangles in some branches and get knocked off.As a package, this is pretty complete for the phone videographer. I love the light with the colored filters. I love the case. I think it\'s fantastic to get a year of their subscription service....But I really love the actual gimbal. Zhiyun consistently makes some of the best ones I\'ve got in my studio, and this one is right up there at the top. A great gimbal!
- I had the previous version of this, and they did add a few features which is always nice.but the portability of it got even better, and the extension arm just adds a whole new element to an already great phone gimbal. The handle has a nice rubber on it. The legs are wide which give you a nice stance also (some are smaller). Which also adds an added arm to how far away you can have the gimbal from you if you are doing a selfie video. Charging is a simple usb C and the internal battery makes it easy to go anywhere.A key feature/gripe of mine.The additional light. Ok so I love this option, because its nice not to have to rely on the cell phone light, but the magnets on it are a little weak (it falls off if it bumps anything). Dont get me wrong, while its on, it doesnt just randomly fall. But when i toss it in a bag, boop....down it goes and i have to dig it out. So just beware of that, but I get it there needs to be a system to add and remove it.
- I bought this gimbal to help me take smoother video with my smartphone. It works great. My video was very smooth and not shaky. This is a combo kit and came with some handy accessories. The combo kit includes a carrying case, which makes transportation very convenient for the combo. I am glad I bought it and would definitely recommend to anyone.
