These are real msr7s, after opening up the backs and checking the driver design, I can say so.I recommend using EQ to the harman scale. EQ or equalizing modifies the frequency of incoming sound to better represent it. MSR7s are very accurate with brightness and tight bass, but may not be for everyone, until you EQ.EQing for this is only really possible on android and PC. Wavelet on android is the most accurate equalization you can get, as the frequency chart is traced exactly. Equalizer APO on PC you\'ll have to first get, then find the harman curve equalization settings on github for the msr7. Input the settings, which will make curves in the frequency range to better suit the headphones. This isn\'t as good as wavelet, but the difference is minimal.Equalization is possible on iphone, idk how to do that though. It will likely be banded like other EQ apps, and not as accurate as the settings on android or pc.Lastly, what you drive these with matter. A. You have the audio file, which comes in varying qualities. Most streaming services have good enough quality, not an issue, however.B. Now, that audio file has to go through the electronic components in your device. Some devices may have sound processing chips that such or that are close to other components, resulting in interference, and lesser sound. If you\'ve ever used any headphones on different devices and put the volume to the same level, they may sound slightly different, as they are colored by what the signal goes through.So invest in a DAC, which can be for PC or come in the form of a dongle.Another thing you\'ll HAVE to do is bend the head part of the head set. It\'s safe as it\'s a metal piece. The shape it comes in is not comfortable for anyone\'s head, and only the center part touches the middle of your head, leading to a lot of weight there and perceived headaches from which people thing comes from the sound of the headphones.Bend and experiment with it in such a way that distributes the weight evenly.Also make sure that the pads are straightened out.For a non-audiophile reading this, good luck. For ay audiophiles reading this, this is all just music to our ears.
Tengo unos Ath M40x así que basaré mi experiencia en base a estos.El sonido es más detallado y plano. Me encanta el balance entre medios y agudos, en los m40x se pueden escuchar a veces muy metálicos. Los bajos fueron una completa decepción eran casi inexistentes, pero eran, ya no. Después de más de un mes de uso, rodandolos y haciéndoles un montón de pruebas. Los bajos mejoraron.Las pruebas las hice con el mismo amp, al mismo volumen con las mismas canciones. Al principio creí que los bajos eran tan malos que debían ser falsos los abrí para ver su interior y realmente se veían originales. Opté por rodarlos por una semana constantemente. Cuando volví a probarlos, eran otros. Podía escuchar y palpar como los bajos eran más fuertes.El producto me vino perfecto y con todos los accesorios. En general estoy muy contento no son el gran salto que pensaría, pero sí son bastante mejores en sonido, comodidad y la cancelación de ruido es un extra que aunque no es espectácular, es un añadido muy bueno siendo la cancelación es muy decente.
When buying these headphones, I assumed I would be getting an upgrade from my Audio Techinca M-50x\'s, but when receiving the headphones, the packaging was damaged and dirty, and when plugging them in just to listen to a simple song, the headphones barely produce any noise, for example, the vocals would be non-existent, while the percussion would be way to loud.

These are great for audio production and Jazz/Classical listening. You can turn up the volume and still have clarity. My best application is a pocket amp and a music player like an old cell phone load up some FLAC files and shut off the world. Application is the key using them to listen to crappy low quality mp3\'s is not what there made for.
