- Purchased for my wife\'s surface pro 7, and it appears to be functioning as well as the original. Installation was very time consuming due to the removal of the original glass and adhesive. Took several hours to complete. Did a test turn on prior to removing the film from the replacement adhesive to make sure the screen functioned properly and all the wires were installed correctly. All in all works well and the install wasn\'t difficult, just incredibly time consuming for an average joe that doesn\'t regularly work on electronics.Came with everything necessary aside from a heat gun, and a razor (for removing original adhesive), even included a new screen protector.
- The screen was a bit stressful to replace, but no soldering required for install which is good. My only recommendation is to pay mind to the other parts of the old screen to transfer to the new one. For instance, didn\'t realize there was a diffuser lens for the webcam light. Color accuracy is good, but viewing angles are very spotty. I get a haze when slightly tilting the display but what can you expect for a cheap screen. Good glass thickness, seems like it will hold up better than the last.
- The screen was packaged well and came with some adhesive strips that worked well. The touch screen works exactly as the old one did. It was a chore to get the old screen off because it was broken, and I didn’t have a heat gun. But, the installation of the new screen was easy when following the videos available online. I would recommend this product to anyone with a little time who wants to save some money and is comfortable around small electronics.
- Installation want smooth, everything seems to work, but the touch screen response is slower then my original. Will be buying a different one sooner or later.
- The product was very well packaged, and secure. Instalation went smoothly, and they even include some medicore tools incase you don\'t have any. I turned it on and was excited that it looked so good, but it wasn\'t touchscreen. Idk if that\'s the product, or if I got a lemon. Kinda sucks tho other than that it\'s great
- I was hoping some of the negative reviews wouldn\'t be true but unfortunately they are. I no longer have any touch screen features on my surface pro 7. I guess I\'ll have to just get used to using my keyboard. The only reason why it gets 2 stars is because the display looks better than my cracked screen.
