- This replaced a hub that was problematic. You know the type, a very inexpensive Chinese hub that costs about as much as a McDonald\'s Value Meal.You get what you pay for. This hub plays nice in a very complicated Mac-based recording studio. It behaves well live on stage as well. I will never be caught dead gigging with a nonsensical-string-of-letters brand thing in my rig again. This Belkin hub is solid.
- I had to purchase this USB HUB as it will support all my drives that need to be powered. It cost a lot more than the non powered hubs, but works best.
- We ordered this to have extra USB availability because my daughter is in college. Well, I am sure this is a great product, it just didn\'t work with her Mac Book and it said that it would.

- Bought this to connect multiple USB-A External drives to a new 24: M1 iMac, which only has 2 Thunderbolt 3 and 2 USB-C ports. I connected this to one of the USB-C ports and connected (3) USB-A external drives, and a USB-A hub to the 4th port. Connected printers (2), and scanners (2) to the 2nd hub. So far so good.Made transitioning from my older MBP (Thunderbolt 2, USB-A, HDMI ports) to the newer M1 iMac pretty painless. And a good value to boot. Only been running it for a few hours. Seems to work just fine.

- Worked like a charm! I have a new iMac with the M1 chip and this little device allowed me to add some peripherals such as a CD/DVD drive that I wasn\'t able to use through the available slots on the iMac. This reasonably priced hub has really been a huge help!
