Poly Sync 40+ Teams USB Speaker Speakerphone: Solution for Remote Work, Distance Learning w/Bluetooth Dongle, Streaming Voice, Video, and Support for Zoom, Webex, Meet, Teams - GTW Microfiber Included
- This speaker is easy to set-up and use. It conveys sound well from the physical room to participants on Zoom.
- The speaker itself is awesome! I bought it with the integrated USB-C charger and dongle.Voice is clear and it’s very easy for others to hear me. While I intended to use it for Work From Home, on the occasion I do go into the office I actually bring it cause it’s easier to use in a group setting than the actual VTC setup in the conference room! The car charger works well for what it is, but I deducted one star because they shipped one that is USB-A and not USB-C, which is a miss in my opinion since it’s not compatible with the speaker itself.Lastly, I love the fact that the speaker can be connected to my laptop via USB-C cable which also charges it, wireless using a dongle, or via Bluetooth. This makes it very versatile!
- I\'ve worked at home since 2016, and I\'ve struggled to find the perfect full-duplex speakerphone/PC-bluetooth speaker that also could make music sound good, in a single f\'n device. Yeah, I knew that full-duplex was the thing I needed. Because I\'d bought 5 other devices before I\'d even spent the time to understand what that even meant. I\'ve bought so many other speakerphones as trial-and-error learnings I can\'t even count. Don\'t get me started. Anyway....One night (when I was drunk and decided to try ANOTHER device), I bought this Polysync thing on a whim.I had the Jabra 750 as my day-to-day workhorse, and honestly... it was perfect. Save for its inability to act as an actual PC speaker. The VoIP quality on the Jabra was superb, but it just couldn\'t play music worth a sht... so I just lived with that $350 piece of crap, figuring no one would ever make the hybrid device I truly wanted. For almost 2 years.Well, let me tell you... when I opened the PolySync 40 box when it was delivered (to my surprise, in my sober state... rolling my eyes at myself while thinking about how to explain the charge on the Citi card to my husband...) I thought \"well I can\'t wait to plug this in and send it back immediately after realizing it\'s the exact same thing as the Jabra on my desk.\" I.... never thought I would be presented with the best home office speaker I\'d ever stumbled upon. Seriously the damn thing blew me away.It sounds like a perfectly professional speakerphone that can be used in all-day meetings, with damn near perfect external noise cancelling. It sounds indistinguishable from the Jabra Speak750 to the remote attendee (tested that theory with multiple co-workers, just to be sure), but it also checks the box as a full range portable speaker.I can switch between full duplex, flawless, Zoom/Teams calls to local music that sounds like it comes from a Sonos Roam. Seriously I have a Sonos Roam, and I sat them next to each other, and I gotta tell ya... it sounds pretty fricken close. The range of this speaker as a stand-alone bluetooth portable audio device is impeccable, and I get professional quality zoom calls... from the SAME SPEAKER. Insane.Buy this thing. You might think Jabra has something better because it costs more, and it\'s Jabra... but this device is superior. If you\'re even contemplating another device, you were probably dropped on your head as a child. Buy this thing and don\'t think twice. I have the Sync 40, but I assume the entire model line is perfect because they share the same base hardware.
- We bought this as a quick and economical solution for our company monthly meetings. Works great and can Bluetooth to several devices at once. Makes it easy to transition from a cellular device to a laptop.
- Just received this Item. it stated that it came with a charger. It did, however Its a standard USB charger. and the unit is a USB-C. I tried calling the seller, and it just gives a recording that the mailbox is full. So now I have to find another way to charge this unit. I will give another review of the unit when i can actually use the device.***UPDATE***After reaching out Via Instagram, they informed me that POLY no longer includes the wall brick for charging, and that they include a wall/car brick as a bonus (even though its not the proper wall/car brick for the device they are selling). They then stated that it can be charged with USB-C adapters from other devices, and/ or a laptop. Well, I have neither of those options at this time. I responded back stating that i do not have either of these options for charging the unit. Once again they responded back stating that they don\'t have a charger with the USB-C option. So in the short of things they are false advertising, by stating \"GTW Bundle with Poly SYNC 20 USB-C Speakerphone w/Charger\". It does NOT come with the Charger for this unit. it just comes with a standard USB charger.Time to return it and find a different option.
- Amazing quality. Poly Lens allows you to change speaker response from bass, to bright to flat. I left mine on bass (factory setting) and had no problems with voice calls. Super crisp. The Bluetooth featured is independent from the USB connector, so you can have it plugged in to your laptop/mac and when a call rings on your mobile, it automatically registers on the Sync 40. All controls are simple and intuitive. I upgraded from a Calisto 5300 and I am literally blown away with the step up in quality. Music playback is also fantastic for speakerphone. All in all, a truly well-rounded package
- Super quality!
