- I had been searching for years for a set of headphones that would serve as a proper second reference to my studio monitors and I finally found it with these. Most headphones are (at least slightly) hyped in some way to the point that it skews the perspective too much to make accurate and reliable mixing and mastering adjustments. I feel like these are simply a more intimate, second set of studio monitors, thus a great reference. I am glad that someone finally nailed it.
- I have the DT770s which I like a lot. Needing a second pair of headphones, I decided to try something supposedly better. They sound fine, though I\'m not sure I like them better than the 770s. But they\'re noticeably heavier and, even at the loosest setting, they grip my head in a way I find unpleasant. I may return these for that reason.
- This is my first set of open back cans. The sound is amazingly neutral whether for listening to iTunes from my Mac via a FIIO DAC or creating content for my podcasts.I don’t know how they did it, but the seller added a whole load of extras in the package at very reasonable pricing. Would recommend.
