• I\'m not going to focus on the core product here, as there are plenty reviews for backbeat pro 2s out there that you can find. Instead I\'m going to focus on what my experience was with the refurb purchased here, as that seems to be the real question. Do you buy these or spend the extra money and just get them new?At the time of writing, the refurb is $23 cheaper than a new version of these headphones. I\'ve had my headphones for a few weeks and they seem to be in full working order. I received all necessary cables, and I\'ve tried out most of the functionality and it works well. My only disappointment is the ear cups, which already have the finish flaking off after moderate use for those few weeks. I can certainly replace the ear cups, and thats a normal part of any on or over ear headphones. But given that they already need replacing, and they cost anywhere from $16-$20 to replace, the real cost to purchase these headphones in working order is now only about $5 less than a new pair. At that price, I\'d rather just buy them new and not roll the dice.
