- Firstly, these IEMs are generally amazing. Build quality and packing is top notch. The cable is superior to any I\'ve have received with any IEM I have in my collection including the IE 600, Dunu Zen Pro, Fiio FD7, and Final Audio Shichiku Kangen. The titanium shells are industrial and beautiful while staying very light and small. The sounds signature on the whole is U shaped with slight sub bass lift. The modified open back allows sound pressure to escape allowing and large sound stage and lifelike bass reproduction similar to speakers. Excellent technical performance. Overall it competes with other TOTL products that cost much more. Sound signature is slightly more bass boosted than my preference but comparable to the IE600.The concern I have is the product I ordered was listed as new. What I received was clearly open box and probably a returned item. There was extra tape pieces on the outside box that appeared to parts of original seals. The box corners were all pushed in and the outer box was dusty. Once the box was open everything looked in place but once I opened the travel case inside the spin fit tips container was open and the tips were clearly used. Some other signs of prior usage were also obvious but otherwise was in like new condition. I ultimately returned the product due to these questionable practices of selling a like new open box as a factory new item even though it appears to have been sold by Shanling itself. I will be reluctant to order again even on another site despite the IEM itself being absolutely amazing.
