- This little by amp sounds great with a variety of headphones (Grado, Audeze, HiFi Man). The amp drives them very well with great bass depth and soundstage. The amp sounds best when using LDAC, the pha-50bt sounds a bit better when using aptx.To the other reviews point about gain, no the amp won\'t \"increase\" the volume of a very poorly recorded song, but if your phone is having trouble driving your headphones (high impedence) then this amp will help.
- The sound processing is superb for an earbud headset, and in a very light and slender package with a cool design. You have gain control as well as fwd/pause/rev for songs. The cell call clarity is better than I anticipated,... so, it\'s quite good too. It lasts long and charges quickly via USB. The handy shirt clip just tops-off the package so you can keep track of this little guy (it only weighs about as much as 2 chapsticks in your pocket). Anyone giving worse reviews either doesn\'t know what they\'re doing; broke theirs; or is spreading \"fake news\": This unit is awesome! A-T is a longstanding company with a history of quality products..Spend the money,.... Test it out with tunes,.... See just HOW good,.... Return it if you don\'t agree: No harm, right?!.Ps. I\'ve now bought a second one!
- The results are extremely disappointing. I was able to pair the amplifier Audiotech AT-PHA55BT Wireless headphone Amplifier. I turned the sound up on the iPhone, the headset and the amplifier. No improvement,. No amplification. No satisfaction. $139.00 and all I got was junk. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT I RATE IT AS A MINUS -10.
- I tried a lot of compact amplifiers, but only this one give me a real natural, strong and detailed sound. Two amp. power settings, very comfortable controls, indicators and codecs (LDAC) ***** real five stars product.
- This was my first dedicated headphone amp, and admittetdly took a gamble on it because I haven\'t found any reviews on it save articles that are more than likely paid for. The amplifier itself is weak and on it\'s own barely pushes Sennheiser HD598s without having to turn the phone signal up and using the A/B amp settings makes a 5% difference no joke. AptX works decently but it\'s not a significant increase in quality over standard BT 4/5.0. I use Tidal on my Note 8 having the developer options enable and forcing the transfer rates to test it out it didn\'t do very well with LDAC on medium or high settings (~600/900kb/s respectively). It experiences significant packet loss that seems to be from handling the device or even adjusting the headphones on my head sometimes. It does offer a slightly flatter and more open sound that I don\'t feel the need to complain about but is also nothing to brag about. I\'ve also used it with Shure 215s at work for hours and this is the preferred setup but at the price, it\'s not worth it. And this seller is offering it at 150% so I defenitely wouldn\'t buy it here if you were so inclined.Overall, does have a nice sound over the phone\'s headphone jack but the BT connection gets spotty quickly as signal quality goes up and it lacks any real power to push higher end headphones. It is very small, very pretty, and the call quality is better than Skullcandy as my only reference but at the price point and feature set I\'m looking at the EarStudio and Creative E5.
