- The good:When you attach the phone it glows at the base to let you know it\'s charging.Charges the airpods and phone at same time.MagsafeLove the powered blueThe Bad:Does not light up bottom to indicate the airpods are charing. And the phone part visually covers the airpods light so you have to look down there to see if charging.Airpod charing is not great. The base is a lot bigger than the charging area, so just pacing down the airpods might not charge them. I have a cute thick airpod case and I have to take it off for charging on this base but not on other wireless chargers.
- I love the versatility of the wireless charger for when you need a charge on the run or just not being hooked up to cables
- Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it as she\'s a heavy iphone user. The detachable, portable, battery pack is an awesome addition for extending battery life on the go.
- Using this for my Pixel products and it is very sensitive on the \'metal detected\' override. Took me awhile to get my phone magnet lined up just right to not set it off, But it works flawlessly now. My Pixel buds pro however have to placed just right to charge, it can be a little annoying. So if you\'re using non apple products know it will work it\'s just sensitive.
- The charger is extremely useful, being able to take the battery pack with you and having it support pass-through charging is amazing. It enables you to charge an iPhone essentially through USB-C so helps to limit the need for other cables if you\'re packing light. The magnets are strong, but not so strong that they are difficult to remove, I usually twist the pack to remove it. However, I do run into the problem that sometimes when I go to remove the phone I pull the pack or the entire charger slightly off the desk / charging stand. Not a big deal, but something to note. When you start charging your phone, the base lights up bright white. This is useful for knowing when you have made a successful connection, but also can be blinding in the middle of the night if you\'re like me and wake up to make sure your phone was connected or have to reply to on-call alerts. Would be nice to be able to configure that with a switch or toggle, but not a deal breaker.Don\'t rely on the battery pack to charge a phone from empty to full, it\'s not that type of device. The to-go battery pack is really more meant for giving you a little more boost on the go than being a full days worth of extension. I am worried that at some point the connection on the base to the battery pack may become less stable as it is only a contact point charger rather than sliding into a USB C connector, but only time will tell there. My biggest complaint on this device is that it is very pricey. The features do come at a cost, I\'m just not sure that it is worth it. If it goes on sale for 30-40% off, I would actually consider buying another, but at normal price I can\'t justify it.
