- It says it will charge to full via solar power in about 8-9 hours. The most convenient way to charge it is with it folded neatly. However, only one solar panel is exposed at this point. You can expose both but you have it put it in star configuration with the star upside-down which seems kind of dumb.I almost freaked out that they didnt send the right cord. However another design flaw - the material has to much play in it so the hard plastic opening to the power plug ins moves around when the material moves. I couldn\'t put the cord in it and just plug and play. You literally have to squeeze the material around a few millimeters to get the cord in further. This could be problematic instead of it being smooth if it were continuously jammed because of bad design flaw - you could break the plug entry.The light is prettyThe light is bright and it does charge my phone.... I\'m not entirely sold on its benefits as a phone charger and light source instead of faerie lights just yet.
