- Being able to get the speed needed for my oculus and the distance was great.
- I used this to attach my projector to my computer in my barn, or atleast this is how it WILL be used. Sadly the barn project isn\'t done yet. Anyway I test fit this across my barn with the projector and my laptop and it worked with no issues. So I will be able to plug the projector directly into the computer so I can control it with the desktop software! Therefore I am happy with this cable because it works for what I need it to work for.
- Using this for a drive located on a shelf far away and it\'s working great and at full speeds!
- I have a tracking camera that contains 2 black and white fisheye lens cameras and 1 RBB camera. This sends a lot of data and needed to be a ways away from my computer. I had tried to use a regular USB 3.2 rated cable that was 20\' long and it was very slow! On the other hand, this 15m/50 foot fiber optic cable worked great! Delivered full speed data with no hitches or other problems. So it\'s performing great!The cable has metal shells for the connectors at both ends, these are slightly longer than your average USB-C cable, sticking out as much as 5cm/2 inches from whatever they are plugged into. This isn\'t a problem unless you are in a really cramped space. The thickness/width of the connectors is pretty much standard for USB-C and USB-A and the cable is very flexible.Remember that the USB-A \"host\" end must be plugged into a computer or other USB-A port that provides power while the USB-C end is for a \"device\" like a camera/phone...etc. Not sure why they advertise this as \"perfect\" for a Macbook Pro because those only have USB-C so to plug the \"host\" end into a MacBook you would need an A-to-C adapter.
- Nice 33ft long USB-C to USB-A, unidirectional fiber optic cable rated at USB 3.1 speeds. The cable is flexible with great strain relief at the plug ends. Easy to work with. Performance over such a long distance is exceptional.
