Jabra Elite 85h Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones, Black – Over Ear Bluetooth Headphones Compatible with iPhone and Android - Built-in Microphone, Long Battery Life - Rain and Water Resistant
- I have used the on-ear 75 version of these with MS Teams and other video conferencing systems and they provided noise cancellation, but for some odd reason, these do not. It makes for a more distracted experience for me, mainly because I have hearing damage and wear hearing aids. The noise cancellation made it so I could take out my hearing aids for phone calls and video conferencing, but these don\'t have it and it makes background noise in my immediate area bad enough that I have to put my hearing aids back in. I like them for music and watching streaming videos, but I bought them for an office environment where it is a bit noisy and the absent noise cancellation has me looking for a different pair. It\'s too bad, because these are very comfortable, I can wear them all day without having sore ears...unless I have to wear my hearing aids...catch 22 I suppose.
- These headphones are great for the price. Not 100% noise cancellation but they still filter about 90% of noise which is perfect for me. I wear these for work and they are super comfortable with a long batter life. I especially like the hear-through mode. They come with a varying case and a cord to plug in if the battery is low. 10/10 would buy again!
- I did all the research and read all the reviews and it seemed like these would be a great set of headphones so I bought them. When they showed up they paired easily, controls were intuitive and they looked nicely made but the sound was pretty flat and unremarkable. I used the app (which is good) and played with the settings and EQ but even with nothing to compare it felt pretty bland. I ordered up the Sony Sony WH-1000XM4 to see how they sounded side by side since they\'re supposed to be pretty closely matched. The Sony was just worlds better - better sound stage, better base, better clarity. I found myself just listening to music whereas the Jabra\'s I was watching the time waiting to swap back.So they are nice, way easier to use than the Sony, they pair faster, they swap from device to device faster, the software is better and the build quality seems nicer - the only thing they don\'t do as well as the Sony is play music. That\'s all I wanted though.
- These are great. They are comfortable and let me block out any of the distracting noises while I trying to work. They work best when I have some sort of audio, even if it\'s just white noise playing (my go to is one of the focus tracks on CALM) - but even without something playing...putting these on to simply muffle the noise is a huge help. Added bonus, they work with my JABRA LINK 370, so I can take work calls without having to switch headsets; the audio is great and I\'ve never had complaints about the microphone/audio from people I\'m talking to (work gave us different jabra headsets, which seem to have all the issues). I can have these connected to my laptop and my phone at the same time, which is handy when I\'m listening to audio on my phone and a call comes in on laptop (or vice versa). But none of this would matter if they weren\'t comfortable. I don\'t get that sore ear ache issue that happens with other headsets that sit directly on the ear or earbuds; making it easy to wear for extended hours...sometimes I forget I have them on. I have no issues with the audio quality - but the audio quality wasn\'t my main concern. This headset works great for me.
- I got these on sale on Cyber Monday 2021, though they were still expensive. Sound quality is great, I like the app that comes with it, and it\'s comfortable on the ears. I had no issues initially. But as other reviewers have pointed out, there seems to have been a bad batch of them, either manufacturing defects or maybe software bugs. My problem is that they only occasionally charge, even after leaving them in for hours, including overnight. Not sure if it\'s a software or hardware issue, but there\'s something not working with the charging function. The other thing I had not realized when I bought them, and this makes the charging issue even worse, is that, if you have no charge, you can\'t just plug it in with a jack and use them. There\'s a technical term for this, which I can\'t remember the name of, but not all headphones work that way, and I would have preferred buying a cheaper set with the ability to plug in when I run out of battery. So, this purchase feels like a Rolls Royce: an expensive piece of junk. And I realize I could call customer service and maybe get an exchange or something, but I don\'t want to have to do that. I want things to work out of the box, and I don\'t have time to be waiting on the phone with customer service. I can\'t get that time back. Next time I will go with a more reliable brand like Sony or something. Also, as long-time lover of music, I have bought headphones for around $80-$120 which have sounded great, and I\'m honestly not convinced (given I don\'t need noise-canceling necessarily) that spending more than $120 or so is worth it, even if they worked properly.
- Trust me the headphones are top notch and you can\'t beat the price on these when they are on sale, yet i would take Beats or Sony over these. They are good for what you pay for, there is milage leakage, noise cancellation isn\'t the best; i could hear lots of things around me even with my volume pretty high. At the end of the day, the sound is great, bass is great and controls on the app are much better compare to many other headphones I own. But try them out yourseleves and see what you think.
- Bought these for traveling. Love the sound quality, app, comfort and hear through setting, not so happy with ANC though... while its activated in a plane it\'s constantly cracking, had to turn it off immediately but afterwards I was off the plane worked perfectly. I\'ve used them a couple of time while working out and works like a charm.
- If you have big ears, find a different product. The reviews I looked at said this product was a good choice if you had big ears. I guess mine are bigger than big because these headphones would not cover them adequately. I didn\'t even fire them up so I can\'t comment on the sound quality.
