  • I would give it 5 starts except for two issues:1) The wire from the unit used to plug into my phone is about 2 inches long from the base of the plug to the base of the wire where it\'s connects to the unit. This isn\'t long enough to handle the unit and my phone easily.2) The carrying case is barely big enough to squeeze everything in the. I have to leave my extra ear buds because there isn\'t enough room for it even after I fold up the wires nicely and place the ear bugs so it doesn\'t snag on anything (instructions said it can easily tear). It takes up more time than it should to store the unit.Other than these issues, the product is great! I don\'t even have to turn on the noise cancellation switch to block out 75% of the noise around me. When it\'s turned on, it\'s like I\'m in a insulated room and I can only hear the music. Even my own voice is muffled when I sing along, with the noise cancellation turned on.
  • Bose QuietComfort 20 ear buds noise cancellation is as good as QuietComfort 25 over the ears headset.I highly recommend it for noisy environments when you try to get rest or need to focus. It is a must for long flights, noisy subway rides, phone calls in a noisy public spaces. Cuts out noisy A/C and noisy neighbors. You don\'t get a complete silence but the remaining sound is no longer disturbing. When there is very little noise around, you can hear a slight white noise from the headset. It\'s not annoying. Don\'t use it for phone calls in quiet settings because you will lose sense of people around you and talk too loud. In my opinion, batteries keep charge sufficiently long and recharge fast. Can be recharged while using them.Love the button that can disable noise cancellation and feed outside sounds so you can have quick chat with someone without taking off the earbuds. It should be used when riding a bike or driving. Can be worn for a long time because ears don\'t overheat like they do with over the ear headsets. It is even possible to sleep with them because there is no bulky hardware on your head. Can rest the head on a side when sitting in an airline seat. Can sleep with head resting on a side of a pillow as long as the bottom edge of the pillow aligns with the ear or above it.I don\'t like the fact the LED lights can be seen only from one side of the control module. Light should wrap around. The earbuds should shut off when not in the ear to conserve battery.Yes, it is pricey.Don\'t have any opinion on quality of sound when listening to music, except that any music without noise sounds much better than from a good headset but without noise cancellation.
  • Fantastic headphones. The noise canceling is not perfect, you can definitely hear background noise if you\'re not listening to music. But they cut enough to not bother you too bad. I use them a lot for studying and they are very useful, definitely worth the money.
  • I had been using my QuietComfort 3 for years and enjoyed it during traveling. Because it takes up space of my carryon bag, I purchased QC20.I didn\'t expect THAT good from this little guy. I\'m soooo happy for this purchase :)One thing bothered me was it\'s wired to my cell and I had to carry around my cell AND QC20\'s battery pack together.Pulling earbuds out if I move my head too far from the device - quite annoying.I think the most of negative reviews on this product are somewhat related with this wiring-thing....However I solved that with my old best friend Sony MW600 (it\'s my everyday pal for 4 years). Now my QC20 became a bluetooth (to my cell, tablet and another device) keeping the same sound quality and nose cancelling ability. That also solved no volume control issue (unlike QC20i for iphone) - I can now control the volume by rubbing a little Sony\'s head.Bose QC20 meets Sony MW600 - PERFECT couple.
  • I had really high expectations for this headset; especially considering the very high price.I am disappointed with them. I do a lot of flying, and I had hoped for the noise cancellation to be as good as many reviews said it would be.It isn\'t. It does reduce the jet engine roar somewhat, but it seems to be less than half. The sound quality isn\'t that great either.Perhaps it\'s the earbuds. I wish I had gotten the headset instead.Just a lot of money for not very much.
  • I was looking for a pair of molded ear plugs for when I ride my motorcycle, to cut down on the wind reverberation that can get very loud despite wearing a helmet. I came across these and saw the opportunity to have the best of both worlds - noise canceling to reduce the wind noise, and music to pass the time on long rides! (before any comments about headphones and motorcycles, all of the states I ride in allow motorcyclists to wear headphones) The best part, specifically when riding, is that I could still hear sirens on emergency vehicles, which is clearly a safety requirement. Anytime this did happen, and anytime we stopped, activating the Aware mode was very helpful and worked better than I expected. Having the ability to easily control my music and activate Aware mode with the inline remote makes these ear buds go from great to excellent.
  • I thought for sure these wouldn\'t be as good as my NC headphones but I was wrong. Awesome for long plane rides and easier to carry than headphones. Best part besides the sound quality is the fact that you can charge it with an android phone power plug. Saves even more room and reduces the hassle of forgetting your charger. It\'s pricey but this a product where you get a lot for your money. Highly recommend for those looking to sleep well on the plane.
  • I have used Bose OE1 over 5 years and QC15 around 3 years. Noise canceling is no doubt. No competitors obviously. However, this has less sound quality than OE1 and QC15 for my ears and returned it.
