IQwire USB-C to USB-C 33 10m Intelligent Photography Tether Cable

This cable has been very stable and we have had no tethering issues with our iMac Pro and Mac Studio computers. I haven\'t tested the speed of this one compared to the 16\' version but happy that it even works and works much better than the tether tools competition.
I am a commercial photographer and also provide professional DigiTech services to other photographers. I\'ve used every Pro cable targeted at photography, and they are all good for the most part. However this powered cable provides faster transfer speeds for high megapixel cameras. I\'ve used it with Nikon z7, Fuji GFX 100s and Cannon R5 shooting high volume raw files. Every time it worked flawlessly for 10 hour days, providing a superior tether experience. You should be aware that it does require power of some kind. It will get it\'s power from your computer, but be aware not all ports on all computers will output sufficient power to power this cable. For instance the right side of my MacBook pro will not provide enough power whereas the left side works just fine. Your milage may vary. If you are plugging it into a powered usb c dock, you will be solid and if a port powers it, it works great. TBC it works flawlessly out of the left side of my MBP but needs additional power on the right. You can also power the cable directly. Also it is a one direction cable and I have not been able to use it for anything other than tethering a camera. It does not connect a hard drive or a monitor. This is by design. I own and use both the 16\' and the 33\' USB C cables for high volume commercial photoshoots, and I highly recommend them to everyone who will listen. Best camera tether cable I\'ve used so far.
Cannot get a 3.2-10Gbps connection with R5 or Z9. Have other cables that will with same port and cameras. Limited to 5Gbps.
worked great for 2 jobs, then stopped connecting to my R5... waste of money
You\'re here looking for a more reasonably priced tether cable rather than paying a premium for a named brand.... this cable is legit and works perfectly on my R6. Finally a long enough cable that I like using!
Tried these out on the recommendation of my digital tech. They are super finicky to get to sync to the camera and capture software, on multiple cameras. Went back to Tether Tools which sync immediately every time. I\'m not some TT shill, and wanted to try out a new longer cable especially since using an extender wouldn\'t be necessary. Throwing these in the trash and out $220.
I have to agree with Dan in another review. I\'m a commercial photographer and also really don\'t understand why they put the power booster plugin box so close to the camera end. It would make way more sense to put it close to the computer end where all of your power connections are. I was on a shoot yesterday and had the power plug pull out several times during the shoot. Very frustrating. The length is amazing. Love the flexibility of the cord vs Tether Tools (theirs is way to stiff). This would be a 5 start + if they would move that power booster to the computer end.
