First off, nifty little feature. The earbud ends have magnets in them so you can loop them around your neck when not in use.Fit. As some reviews may mention, the initial fit feels awkward and possibly uncomfortable. Playing around with the hooks, fins, or nothing (mix and match as you feel) will yeild results. I find they fit me best without any hooks or fins. That way I’m able to angle them as best as possible for comfort. Now another note, you will most likely need to go up a size for tips compared to other earbuds due to the design. For example, on my Forza Wireless, my ZN’s, etc... I use medium tips. On these Bass Fit’s, large tips were needed to get the seal I needed to retain the earbuds.Sound. They sound great. The bass is rich and pretty darn heavy for a small earbud. They are also really well focused on the mid range. However, due to the size of the speaker, it means the high ranges aren’t light and crisp. This translates to a clear warm sound in the high range.Battery life. I’ve used them for about 16 hours and have only charged once recently. As with every V-MODA wireless product, the low battery beep isn’t annoying, but it is noticeable enough to get your attention if you’re zoned out.While I initially had to figure out the best fit, for me, for the first hour, they’ve turned into a great pair of wireless earbuds. The use of the larger tips not only helped seal better, but they hold the earbuds in really well. There is no way they are falling out.
I purchased 2 of these headsets and they both were defective with a short in the wire. With every movement the head set shorting out with constant fuzz noise. Very disappointed with the quality.
Long story short:1. Sound is awesome, including the bass which is specifically what I was looking for...2. IF - AND ONLY IF - you can pick the right size eartip and stick it far enough into your ear so it forms a vacuum and pumps the sound close enough into your ear.If you just put them on with out any effort, there\'s basically zero bass. After countless trial and error I finally figured out the way to push them in and twist them upwards while push into my ears hard, and that locks them into place with good sound isolation and bass. And no need for those white ear things, just the orange inside ear pieces is all you need.What vmoda should\'ve done is pay attention to how Sony does their eartips - they are larger and deeper so they take up the space in your ear canal. These are too shallow.
I was looking for the two different types in one1.-Earbuds2.-headphonesThe way your ears holds up the earbuds, plus the way the headphones holds around your ear. That is the best thing and way to do it, using both ways at the same time.I just bought them because they were the only ones smart enough to design with the two different ways to hold them.But Mamamia !!!! Guau !!!! What kind of wireless, Bluetooth headphones are this ones !!! I just don’t stop using them, the brand promotes to much the BassBut the clarity of the sound are as better as the Bass.Excellent for anyone who can appreciate Music, this things are real and differentThe two different ways to old the headphones, and different sizes for different sizes of hearsI just bought another one for my home, so nobody can asked me for mines.Nobody is paying me or giving me something for the review.
These headphones work great, truly, but as a previous V-Moda customer, these did not live all the way up to my expectations. Sound is pretty great for earbuds, again they earbuds, not full headphones. Battery life is fantastic, no issues, where them throughout the week and to the gym, rarely finding myself running low on battery as long as I make sure to charge every once in awhile. Comfort and the fact they slip from my ears at times are reason for the 4 star. The cable is rubberish plastic and sometimes sticks to your neck when sweaty, could be braiding and wayyy better.
I’ve had the V Moda Crossfade for some time and love them. Needed earbuds so I went with V Moda again. The sound quality is not worth $130, not terrible but can definitely be better. We’ll see how long they last for me
Very disappointed! In over the ear they are great but on this model, the total opposite.
Right from the box there was static in the right earbud. It goes away from time to time. V-Moda hasn’t gotten back to me about this matter. There is huge delay in sounds from phone to headphone. Switching between apps causes a massive high pitch screeching sound that gets old and annoying fast. Sound quality is great and comfort is also good. Battery life is top notch as well.
