• Decent sound quality and very good wind noise cancelation on the microphone side
• The Uclear Amp2 speaker size and shape do not fit the HJC RPHA 70ST helmet\'s speaker cut outs. The helmets cutouts are to small. I had to modify the cutouts a bit to get them in.Everything else installed fine, had to use the 3M adhesive tape to mount the controller to the outer shell, the included helmet clip would not fit this particular helmet.Speakers are loud enough to hear at or below 50 mph, given that this particular helmet is pretty noisy at highway speeds the sound obviously degrades at higher speeds. I have not tried using the microphone for calls , but you should know that the microphones are built into the speakers which is why they are oddly sized speakers.Controls are difficult to use while using gloves as well.
• Let\'s start with the large control and battery module. It is large and sticks out pretty far from the helmet. It catches on my jacket when I turn my head to the left and down, for example when checking the lane next to me. Mounting it higher on the helmet creates a strange whistle at speed on that side. The module is just really thick, something thinner would work much better.the other problem is the buttons. there is nothing you can feel through gloves to tell you what button you might be pressing. they are small (which is funny given how big the module is) and you have to push them in fairly far. with gloves this is all but impossible. they are also very illogical. pushing the up or down button skips a track, or if you hold it a moment it to adjust the volume. so if you want to turn up the volume, you press the up button, and after skipping a track the volume goes up, then you have to push the down button to get back to the track you wanted. the whole thing is a pain in the ass.On the positive side, the sound is pretty good, and the battery life is also pretty good. I just wish they had a better module interface.
• Great product... sounds great... until your actually in highway traffic. Didn\'t help that I have a great exhaust system (loud pipes save lives). I paired it with my boyfriend\'s so we can talk while riding, we can\'t hear each other at all while in transit. Other than those few things, I\'m satisfied with the product!
• Mounted this communicator to my motorcycle helmet for use with phone and GPS. Works great, I\'d buy it again.
• I bought this to replace my aging Uclear headset. It was a second generation unit and had always been reliable. This one has improved sound and app function, but the same style buttons I was already used to. I am happy.
• When I ordered this Bluetooth it showed up without a charge cord. I called the company a couple of times but you can’t get a hold of anybody so left messages and I never did get a charge cord from them. I ordered a charge cord from another source charged up the Bluetooth linked it to my phone and there is no output to the speakers. This has been a two month journey to find out that these are junk. Save your time and your money and buy something else
